Chapter Seven

the first day.

athena couldn't believe what she had just heard. she always gushed at compliments but with him it felt different.

it was like a huge boost of serotonin. she was speechless, all she could do was get up and hug him.

as she broke the hug she looked him in the eyes, giving him a smile before kissing his cheek.

as the days passed, the couple would talk on the phone all night, or hang out, or watch movies.

the rest of cast had noticed their change in behavior, secretly rooting for them to get together.

athena was nervous, more than nervous actually. today was the first day of shooting, she was scared out of her mind.

the girl had arrived on set, before she could walk to her trailer she saw drew.

as drew approached her she sucked in a breath, as she did so drew took her into his embrace.

"you are going to do amazing ena" he said before conecting their foreheads.

"um since when were we practicing scenes in the parking lot?" a voice spoke.

the pair immediately separated to see rudy, they both looked at each other then back at rudy in confusion.

"what do you mean?" athena said as she furrowed her eyebrows

" you guys do realize you guys fall in love and kiss in the show right?"

" well yeah but we werent kissing."

"so you guys were falling in l-" rudy was cut off by athena putting her hand over his mouth.

" yeah enough of that."

athena had just finished her first scene, she thought she did decent. as she was heading to her trailer lilah stopped her.

"you did really good athena i think u were meant for this."

athena blushed before inviting lilah into her trailer, after awhile all you could hear from the trailer was laughter.

the girl felt so lucky to have such an amazing family surrounding her.

"so whats up with you and mr starkey?" lilah asked as she stared at athena

" i have no idea what you are talking about."

"well i looked outside and i saw you and drew were an inches away from kissing earlier soooo." the younger girl said as she laid her legs in athena's lap.

"hmmm seems like you need to get your eyes checked."

athena was not going to budge, she knew if she told anyone, drew would eventually find out.

she knew that they were just best friends and thats all they were ever going to be.

then after they finished filming she could push him away and go back to her old self.

athena was told she was done filming for today, so the girl headed home to do some small things around her apartment.

she was halfway through the dishes as she felt a presence behind her, she turned around quickly to see drew.

but before she could realize it was drew she jumped, which caused her to drop the dish she was holding.

"shit ena im sorry i didnt mean to scare you"drew said before grabbing a towel to soak up her blood covered hand.

"dont worry about it, it was an accident." she said reassuring him.

"no it isnt, i hurt my pretty girl." the boy said while helping her clean her hand.

"its not your fault sh." she said as her stomach erupted in butterflies.

i hurt my pretty girl.

those words repeated over and over in her head for the rest of the evening.
