Chapter Ten

the kiss.

athena had regretted what she said that night, she was in love with him and she ruined her chance.

her and drew had pretended like it never happened, though there was a change in both of their behavior

both of them were sad and tense around each other, which made athena upset but she knew it was her fault.

athena had woken up from a call from madison.

"hi pretty good morning." maddie said happily.

"goodmorning." athena replied still trying to wake herself up.

"lets go get breakfast at 9."

athena glanced to see it was 8.

"sounds great." she said as the two girls said their goodbyes and ended the call.

athena had gotten ready, actually putting effort into her appearance before heading out of the door to the location maddie sent her.

as she pulled up she saw maddie standing outside who waved at her happily.

athena walked up to the girl before wrapping her arms around her and kissing her cheek.

the two headed inside quickly starting a conversation about work.

"whyd you invite me all of a sudden?" athena asked confused.

"i thought you would be nervous about today so i decided to take you out to get your mind off of things."

"why would i be nervous?" athena asked even more confused.

"you and drew kiss today."

the girl choked on her coffee before widening her eyes.

"thats today?!" athena said franticly.

athena knew her and drew kissed in the show but she didn't know they would be filimg that today.

after breakfast both girls headed to set, madison had helped athena calm down after she found out about the kiss.

after she had gotten into costume she went to go film some of her scenes.

she had just filmed a scene with nick, after the scene had finished he had hugged the girl.

"goodluck today." he said while looking at her.

she was confused because nick was usually never serious and she didnt know he knew about her feelings for drew.

"you know?" she said with a confused expression.

" everyone knows, you guys had huge heart eyes for each other and now you guys look like you're about to cry when you guys are near each other."

"oh." was all she could say.

"i wont tell anyone, i just wanted to wish you the best."

"thank you nick." she said giving him a sad smile.

as the two parted away from the hug athena was needed for a scene, the scene.

athena walked to where she was needed, spotting drew walking there also.

she avoided eye contact with him, she was so embarrassed that she had rejected him.

she couldnt even look him in the eyes anymore.

as the scene started she got more and more nervous

"rafe im not sure if i can do this, do us." athena said as her character

"what do you mean you cant fucking do this layla, after all the shit ive done for you."

"but you haven't done one thing for me rafe, you've done nothing but fuck me over."

"dont." rafe said while pushing her against the wall which resulted in her mumbling in pain.

"its true." layla said in pure anger, but before she could she could get away she was taken aback by rafe kissing her.

or what was supposed to be rafe.

the kiss felt like she was kissing drew not rafe.

as the director called cut, the two sepparated.

they had walked away awkwardly not wanting to confront each other.

but all athena could think about was him, the kiss.

she was in love with him.
