After regaining your composure following the spar with Loki, you and the team sit for some dinner. Everyone holds conversation with you, mainly about your powers and such, except for one. Loki. Who has not said a word, nor looked in your direction since.
Tony shows you to a spare room that you can use whenever you need to. Seconds into your head hitting the pillow, you fell asleep. Actually, your head might not have even reached the pillow. You stayed there and rested to regain your strength some more, for just over an hour.
It's around 11pm, when you make your way to the kitchen. Most of the tower is quiet, and you hear the sounds of televisions on as you pass rooms. Once you reach the kitchen, the only other person there is Loki, "Hey. Loki, right?"
Loki looks in your direction this time, but says nothing, only takes a sip from his tea.
"Ok, then. For someone who had SO much to say during training, have I left you speechless?" You walk to the fridge and grab a water.
Loki scoffs, "Please. We have nothing to speak of. And I am busy at the moment."
"Hopefully working on your comebacks, as they were barely adequate earlier," You take a drink from the water bottle.
"Just who do you think you are?!" Loki stands, taking a few steps towards you.
"Y/N," you say, "I forgot; we skipped introductions earlier. Although," you take some steps towards Loki as well. "You did seem to care enough to ask if I was alright after our match."
Loki's jaw clenches a little, "That was merely out of courtesy. I do not CARE for anyone."
You can tell Loki is lying. "Liar. You're just..."
"Choose your next words VERY wisely, Y/N. I will not tolera...."
You're both interrupted by Steve entering the main room as well, "Is Loki bothering you, Y/N?"
Loki looks away rolling his eyes, and taking a few steps away from you.
You're almost hurt by Steve's words, but also see Loki's reaction to them, "Actually, it's more mutual. I take at least half of the bothering credit."
Loki looks at you confused, as Steve looks between the two of you, "....Fine. Just making sure."
Steve gets what he needs and leaves. Loki exited the room before you could even make eye contact with him again, let alone speak.

The next morning, most are eating breakfast in the main room.
"Since Wanda will be leaving today, Loki," Tony explains, fork halfway to his mouth, "you will be training Y/N here forward."
"What?" you say as you chew.
"Beg your pardon?" Loki says in unison with you.
Tony shakes his head, "No. Neither of you will argue your way out of this. You're booked in the training room for 2 hours, starting today at 10am."
You and Loki make quick eye contact, but say nothing to one another until you meet in the training room.
"Wanda, I have never met Vision, but hand me the phone; I'll convince him to let you stay," you explain walking Wanda to the elevator.
Wanda smiles and laughs, "Look, no one will admit it, but you're in decent hands when it comes to Loki training you. He knows what he's doing."
"You're saying there's a method to his madness?" You raise your eyebrows.
"Yes. Just...when he pushes, push him back," Wanda gives you a hug before stepping into the elevator.
You take a deep breath, and grab two waters as you head to the training room.
"Morning, Prince Charming," you greet Loki.
"Prince of Asgard. God of Charm," he corrects you with a hint of a smirk.
"Both of Annoyance," you take a sip of water after tossing one to him. "What's on today's agenda?"
"Stamina of your powers. You got tired too quickly yesterday. That is never ideal in a fight," Loki explains.
You nod.
"No smart remark?" He puts his water on the ground.
"I actually agree with you. But, I'll probably never again, so don't get used to it," you match his fake smile/smirk.
"Hm. Ok," Loki starts to pace with his hands folded behind his back. "Create a ball of energy and see how long you can hold it. I'll do the same; make it a competition of sorts."
You nod once more, holding your palm out in front of you. A purple ball of energy forms, and a green one matching on Loki's hand.
You're able to hold it consistently for about 5 minutes, before it fades completely.
"Not bad. That'll improve with practice," Loki closes his hand, the green now gone. "Now, come at me."
"What?" you turn your head slightly in confusion.
"You're already a bit tired, but the fight is not over. Come at me," Loki states again.
You get a few energy blasts at him, and manage to block some of Loki's blasts as well, but when you can't get any more power, you lunge at Loki.
Loki stumbles back, "No more magic?" He says before starting to fight back.
You dodge some punches and kick his leg out from under him, "No more magic." You smirk.
Loki quickly stands, "Fine."
Your fighting is sloppier than Loki's, but somehow you're blocking many of his moves. "Maybe I can train you...in this," you say between movements.
Loki's eyes squint, "I do not require training. In anything." He punches your arm, with more force than he intended.
You roll your eyes, "Whatever you say, Prince Charming."
Loki pushes you to the wall, "And stop with that...name you've been saying."
You're both out of breath, his arm pressing just below your throat, pinning you to the wall, "Oh dear, does it bother you?"
Loki presses his arm into you further.
You lick your top lip, "Guess what? I don't CARE either." You lift your arm and send a purple energy blast at Loki, which propels him across the room.
"It's been a pleasure," you say as you leave the training room, as Loki rubs the back of his neck, leaning on the wall.
