Author's Note: The plan is to update this story and my next at the same time. We shall see how that goes, since I'm so consistent with this one lol.

When you hit Loki with the book, a paper fell out.

Thor bent down and picked it up, "What's this?" He hands it back to you without opening it up.

You open it up and quickly scan it, "Well, my handwriting has definitely improved over the years." You don't even bother hiding the smile spreading across your face. You fold the paper back up, "After I finished reading a book, I would write my commentary on a piece of paper and leave it in there for my friend, the one who helped me train magic."

"Sounds dull," Thor says as you continue walking.

"Maybe try picking up a book sometime, instead of the hammer," you bump into Thor's arm as you get next to him.

"Do not waste your breath. I have been telling him that for hundreds of years. Thor chooses to be dull," Loki joins your line.

"I am right in between the two of you, so I can hear you," Thor pretends to be offended.

"Are you? I had no idea!" you match his sarcasm.

"To quote Loki from earlier, I despise you both," he shakes his head. "Gods, you're like an old married couple." He walks ahead of you.

"We are NOT like an ol..." Loki calls.

"Hey! You could do a lot worse than me, thank you very much," you interrupt Loki.

Thor continues on as Loki walks next to you, "Putting up with you for the rest of my days? No thank you."

"The same thought was running through my mind, Prince Charming. Besides, I need to marry someone with a better sense of humor," you side-eye Loki before taking a few steps to be in front of him.

"Is that so?" He begins pacing towards you.

You turn back around, now walking backwards, "Now, you wouldn't chase your WIFE, would you?" A grin slowly reforms back on your face.

Loki narrows his eyes, "I truly hope you know your way around the palace." A smirk crosses his face before he suddenly charges at you.

"LOKI!" you yell and begin to run the now short distance to the palace.

Going around one of the corners though, you nearly crash into Frigga, causing you to immediately stop.

Loki does the same less than a second after you, and he clears his throat, "Mother."

"Loki. Y/N," Frigga looks back and forth between you.

"Apologies, your majesty. We...got a bit carried away," you look down.

"Quite alright, dear. I hate to disrupt this...chase, but I would like to speak with you, Y/N," Frigga says as you bring your gaze back to her.

"Yes, of course," you straighten your dress.

"Excellent. We will have lunch brought to us. Loki, we can chat later before dinner," Frigga nods, as does Loki, and he walks in the opposite direction.

As you and Frigga walk into her chamber, "Do I need to speak with Loki about his behavior?"

Now you think about how your interaction with Loki must have looked, "I must confess that the incident was brought on by me pestering Loki." This time you bite your top lip, hoping to fight your grin.

Frigga walks you to the balcony, "Is that so?" She asks as she sits.

"It's sort of a...mutual pestering," you sit across from her.
