This picture is from Kagerou Daze, a manga. I thought it was hilarious so I'm sharing it with everyone xD (They're on a rollercoaster.)
Matthew's POV
"M-Matthew can you c-come over please?" Jamie's voice starts quivering over the phone.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" I stand up from my bed and start getting my shoes back on.
"M-my brother is m-missing." I hear her sniff.
"Of course. Ill come over right away." I grab my keys then rush out to my car.
"T-thanks." She says before hanging up. I hope he isn't hurt or kidnapped. Driving to her house was relatively easy since no one was out in the rain at this time.
When I park, Jamie comes running out, not even changed from the water park. "Jacob and Nicole are already looking. Let's go." She grabs my hand and starts pulling me toward the town center.
"I can't believe he would runaway without telling me." She wipes at her face whenever the rain gets close to her eyes. Every once in a while, she would curse at her hair then push it away from her face. "He tells me everything I thought! I can't believe he would..." her hand tightens around mine.
"Isn't that the whole point of running away? Being alone without anyone knowing?" I ask her. She rips her hand from mine.
"If you're not going to help me find him then get lost." She growls and I give her a slight smile.
"Who said I wouldn't help?" I respond.
"Good." She mutters with a huff and walks a bit slower.
Jamie's POV
I just don't know why Daniel would want to run from me. Even Mom is getting better! There has to be another reason as to why he didn't tell me anything. Gosh, this freaking rain is infuriating. Oh look. It's starting to pour.
"Where does Daniel like to hang out?" He asks me. I throw my hands up in frustration.
"I don't know! I thought he usually only goes to his friend's house but obviously he's found somewhere else to go!" Matthew catches my arm.
"We're going to find him Jamie. I promise." I sigh.
"I guess. When we get to the square, I'm climbing up the statue to get a better view. Can you help me get up?" I ask as we near the center.
"Yeah." When we reach our first town mayor, he pushes my thighs up so I can reach Mr. Tanners pilgrim hat. He helps my feet keep planted as I look above the town. My eyes glances over the bell tower then trails back. "Of course... he loves being up high." I mutter to myself. "I'm coming down!" After being helped, I turn to Matthew.
"I know where he might be!" I tell him excitedly. We start jogging to the tower when my phone rings.
"Hey Jamie, Jacob and I are stuck." Nicole's voice sounds fuzzy over the phone.
"What? Where? Like there's too many moose to get through?" I ask.
"Not quite. Our back tires won't push out of the mud. Right now, Jacob is currently trying to push the car but if I admit, he's not that buff. Thank god he isn't next to me to hear that. Anyways, I don't know how much help we can provide now."
"I have an idea of where Daniel might be."
"Really? That's good. Go check it out. I think I may have to help push the car out." The call starts buzzing. "I think- breaking- call- later!" Then the call ended.
"We'll need to help get Jacob's car out of the mud after we check the bell tower." I say to Matthew before jogging off. I really hope he's here. My eyes start to swell up again.
We rush up the stairs, our feet pounding hard against the metal steps. Once we reach the door, my hand hesitates when opening it.
"Please be here. Please be here." I chant. The door creaks open and Daniel is there, shivering in a corner. I gasp then rush over to him.
"You stupid stupid brother! How could you not have told me where you were going?!" I pull back after I hug him. "Wait... Daniel? Why are there bruises all over your face?" His face had already turned purple from the multiple bruises. "Did Mom do this?" He shakes his head. "Then who?"
"My friend..." He whispers.
"Max did? But why?" Daniel starts to tremble and I gather him in my arms. Matthew sits next to me, stroking my brother's hair.
"W-we were never friends. He would always insult me and hit me. I don't like him! I want him to go away but whenever I try to tell him, he just hits me more! That's why I stopped going and started hanging out here. But he found me walking here and h-he... h-he."
"Shh. I understand. Ill go talk to him. You don't have to worry. Just next time, tell me. Okay?" He nods and starts to bawl, clutching my t-shirt. "Let's go get you home with some hot cocoa and a movie. Matthew and I need to help our friends." The three of us make it slowly to my house. After getting Daniel all dry and warm, Matthew and I start walking in a general direction.
"I need to ask where she is." I tell Matthew then shoot a message to Nicole as one comes back.
Nicole: We got the car out! Well Jacob did. Did you find Daniel? Heading to your house.
I text back.
Me: Yeah we found him. He's back at home. Take care of him. Matthew and I will be back soon.
"Well I guess they got the car unstuck. We can go back to my house now." I start to turn around but Matthew catches my arm.
"W-wait Nerd. I want to say something." I look over at him and notice that his cheeks were red.
"What? I need to get back to Daniel soon." He frowns.
"Why are you being so rude?"
"Is this what you had to say? Seriously? I'm going back." I try to pull my arm from his grip but he doesn't let go. "Matthew let go."
"Not until you listen."
"Well what do you need to say?!"
"I... I really like.." The rain pours harder. No birds were chirping. It was silent yet I felt as if I couldn't hear a thing. Like everything was too loud. "I really like someone!"
"Why the hell are you telling me this? I don't want to hear it!" Tears stream down my face, mixing with raindrops as they fall to the ground. "I don't want to hear this!" His grip loosens and I take the chance to move. My sad tears soon turned to angry tears.
I stomped away from him, furious. The rain makes my hair stick to my neck which makes me even more annoyed.
"Why don't you just go to your 'girl of interest'!" I yelled at him. I am done with his crap.
He comes up to me and grabs my face.
"You are the girl of interest." His lips come crashing towards mine but I turn my head. I feel his breath on my cheek as he gasps slightly.
"That's what you get for playing with me." I mutter and hug him tight. "I hate romance movies so never try something like this again got it?"
His chest rumbles with laughter. "Deal."

Sorry for the scrappy update BUT THE FAMOUS LINES FROM THE SUMMARY HAVE BEEN SPOKEN XD I didn't want them to kiss right then because that would be too Notebooky. I really do like them together but what about Lance? I don't think he's going take rejection too lightly.
I may not update for a little while since I'm moving to a new location in Europe!
