[THIS IS NOT EDITED]

Matthew's POV

"I loved her ya know?" Jacob complained to me. Jacob, my best friend, just got his heart broken. This girl and him were going out for two years until he just found out that she was playing him. All she wanted was his money. So now here he is, crying and whinning about his "amazing" ex-girlfriend.

"I'll never find a girl like her again. She was just so..."

"Amazing?" I said in a monotone voice.

"Yeah. That's the word. Amazing. She just had these beautfiul green eyes. And the way she looked at me was stunning. I miss her man. I really do." He started to sniff.

"Aw man stop. Don't cry on me. Come on let's go to the diner." I got off my bed and grabbed my leather jacket. "It's on me." He nodded and followed.

We got to the diner and sat down in a booth.

"We really need to find you a new girl, Jacob." I told him.

"I don't know if I'll find anyone so amazing." His shoulders slumped and I rolled my eyes. I'm trying to have compassion here but it's just too much. He needs to have a girl best friend so he can share those sappy love stories with her. Then he can come back to me and we can party. As simple as that.

"We could always go to a Playboy bunny (if you haven't noticed, I am very much in love with Playboy things) mansion party and just hook up with girls." I smirked at him.

"We could but guess what?" He frowned.

"What?"

"She won't be there." I rolled my eyes.

I was about to make fun of him when she walked in. "There she is. The girl I'm going to make fall in love with me." I grinned mischievously. He turned around to look at her.

"She's cute." was all he said.

"I'll be right back." I cracked my knuckles. "Time to work my magic."

I got up and walked over to her booth. I saw a blonde haired girl and a redhead. "Hello ladies. Nerd." I nodded to Jamie. (yes I know her name. I just like antagonizing her.)

She narowed her eyes. "Go away pig." Her friends gasped.

"No no! Please stay! Come sit with us and bring your friend." The blonde haired girl said while the redhead giggled.

"Thank you." I grinned. I walked over to Jacob. "Come on. We're hanging out with the girls." He nodded his head and dragged himself (not literally) over to the table. I sat next to Jamie while Jacob sat inbetween the two other girls.

"I'm Nicole and this is Angie." The redhead introduced.

"I'm Matthew and my friend next to you ladies is Jacob." I said in return.

"So tell us how you and Jamie met." Angie, the blonde haired girl, asked. Nicole payed no attention to us as she started talking to Jacob.

"Well it was quite romantic-" I started to say.

"No it wasn't. We work together." Jamie cut in. I glared at her and she returned the look.

"Oh come on sweetheart!" I put my arms around her neck. "You don't have to be ashamed that we actually like each other." I winked.

She scoffed. "In your dreams, player." She pushed my arm off from around her and scooted farther away from me.

"Oo! Fiesty! Where do you work?" She asked me.
