Jack (pov)
I woke up groggy, and dazed. There was a small light shinin through the openin of the tent. I got up and walked outside noticin Ennis already saddling up his horse. I didn't say a word to him as I walked closer. He jumped on his horse and only took a mere glance at me before headin off.
I felt numb inside, like as if my whole body had gone limp. I tried to shake it off, knowing what had happened the night before. I saddled up my horse, but I wasn't planin on goin back to work just yet. I needed time to think this through.
I found a decent spot and layed there just starin out across the wide open plain. I then heard footsteps and turned slightly only to find, it was Ennis. He bent down and stood there in silence. (Ennis) "...Its a one shot thing we got going on here". (Me) "...its nobody's business but ours". (Ennis) "you know I ain't queer". (Me) "...me neither"....
