Flashback
1 week before the Being Sold situation.
This is when Jessica still goes by Y/N

Y/N's POV
As I walked down the hallway of my school, I can feel the weird stares of everyone. I know exactly why. I'm not wearing my usual mess of Galaxy clothes, and I never will again. They've all been burned.

I felt something I don't think I've ever felt in my life. I felt proud of myself, and boy howdy it's a great feeling. I really outta do more stuff like this.

But my feeling of Pride is cut short when I felt the all too familiar sensation of being shoved against a locker by...who's the guy this time?

Oh right. Lyon McBadboy, the bad boy of this school.

To this day, I could never figure out if McBadboy was his actual last name or if he changed it for branding purposes. Either way, so on the nose.

"Bluebird, why are you showing so much skin?" Lyon gestured to my slightly exposed collarbone "we don't want guys getting the wrong idea, do we?"

"Of course not, Lyon" I begrudgingly said through my teeth.

"Don't forget, bluebird, you're mine." He whispered into my ear. I always found it a bit gross when he did that, with the spit going into my ear.

"Who do you belong to?" He asked in his usual condescending tone.

But this time I remain silent.

"Well" his tone becomes more threatening "I asked you a question, bluebird. Who do you belong to?"

"Nobody." I spat back at him "I belong to nobody, especially not scumbags like you."

Then Lyon did something he's never done, or as a matter of fact, none of my boyfriends have done. He smacked me in the face.

"Look what you made me do, bluebird." He says condescendingly.

"Don't call me that" I stood my ground "I am not your bluebird anymore."

I found a sudden burst of strength flowing through my arms, allowing me to break free from his grasp.

I look back at Lyon and yell in his face "We are Over. I don't want to see your face ever again." And with that I marched away.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Lyon called out "We will meet again, and when that happens I'll make you regret turning your back on."

Empty threats. As if. But for now it would be safest to try avoiding him in the halls. Good thing this school has multiple shortcuts.

Present Day

???'s POV
"So, you failed in bringing me the girl." I said to the bad boy in front of me.

"Yes" he bows his head in shame "I wasn't anticipating that she'd actually have friends. She's sure changed a lot."

I sign in disappointment "Regardless, your little meeting with her has provided us with valuable information. You mentioned a girl she was crushing on."

The boy smirked "It was pretty obvious, I know that look she gets and she had it only for that girl."

"We can use this to our advantage. You may go now."

"What about my pay? I brought the information didn't I?"

"But you still failed to bring the girl, nevertheless I shall pay you half of what I promised." I say as I hand the boy an envelope full of cash.

"Pleasure doing business with you." The boy accepted the money and left.

If I can separate the girl from her friends, there'll be no one who can save her. I need someone with strength and speed.

Maybe two. Might as well outnumber her.

It's time to bring in the werewolf and the vampire.
