Space, space, space. There was nothing to do up here but there was everything to see.

You were in the middle of your expedition across your third found dimension. This one reminded you of home because it seemed so similar. During your expedition, your days would be consumed with observations, making predictions, and working on getting to the next dimension available. You weren't expecting to explore all of them but you wanted to explore at least ten before you were satisfied. You knew that there were risks involved, and almost every week you prepared to die at some point. You would always tell yourself that you've lived a good twenty thousand odd years during those points in the week. 

Disappointingly, you hadn't met anyone new yet besides the scientists on your home planet. Maybe it was because your days were so consumed on basic survival and preparing to go to points B, C, and D. You weren't sure yet. You told yourself people and others will come to you if the time is right. You could defend yourself if you needed to, with or without the ship. 

Today, however, you decided to take a day off for the first time in three weeks. You lazily prepared yourself for the day and sat at the front of the ship, looking at the universe in front of you. The ship was going at a slow pace compared to your other days when you were faced with dangers. It felt too good to be true. After an hour of just staring out the window and into the stars, you made an impulsive decision. 

You would explore some random planet, chosen by some general direction your finger pointed towards. You had closed your eyes, waved your arm back and forth in front of you, and stopped. 

You pointed northeast. Quickly, you geared up the ship to go faster than it was currently flying and sped off.

You arrived at a planet that was yellow in appearance. Thin rings surrounded the circumference of the sphere, kind of just like Saturn. It was far enough from a large star, so you didn't expect it to be hot, but you did prepare just in case it was cold. You put on your protective suit. It was slim fitting but strong; it covered you almost head to toe. 

This planet looked pretty to you. As you started to land, you noticed the ground appeared to be yellow but the sky was blue. You hoped this planet had oxygen but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't. Either way, you could live without it for a couple of days. After a surprisingly soft landing, you stepped outside immediately once you landed to see what was there to see. Upon closer inspection, flower-like things were covering the entirety of the ground. The majority of it was yellow but there were mixes of occasional pink. Its height covered your feet and ankles. You weren't sure if it was plants or poison or what but you suspected it had to be flowers with the way you were able to breathe. 

You picked one from the ground to take it back to the mini-lab for analysis. However, you paused for a brief second, the entire scene seemed to be just a flatland full of these things. You wondered if this were the case for the whole planet.  

Soon, you determined these flowers were safe for you to be in skin-to-skin contact with. You were relieved because it became quite warm in the safety suit. You wanted to change into a dress; something that matched the scene. You weren't looking for food, water, any of that, you just wanted to experience something for once. 

You changed into a midi silk white sleeveless dress with some sneakers on. You landed in an empty spot so you didn't think you needed to dress to impress. You shook your hair out of the ponytail it was in for the first time in weeks. You put on sunscreen just in case the sun's rays were just a tad too powerful for your liking. You only put on one dainty gold chain around your neck for the sake of feeling dressed up.
