"My lord," a voice called. You were looking down admiring your rose bush while you watered it. You peered up at your assistant." you have been called for assistance."
It had been some years since you were needed to protect the people of Earth. You weren't a fighter per se, however, you worked together with the guardians up at the lookout to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, especially in times of crisis. You were on Earth in your small cottage, camouflaging with the humans and others alike.
You could call yourself a demigod but you weren't even sure if that's what you were. You looked human and had healing powers and wisdom. That was all.
"For whom?" You questioned. It had been a while since you had been called so formally. Perhaps a couple of hundred years. However, your gut had been telling you something was coming. From what you could tell, it was bad, catastrophic even. All you could do, however, was wait.
"Supreme Kai." Your eyes widened at the name. It had been a long time since you talked to him. You had only talked to him about two times since the other Kais had been killed by Majin Buu. You assumed Kibito and him had everything going well, especially since the universe was at peace for the first time in years. You wondered if Shin felt had the same uneasy gut feeling.
You said nothing else as you finished tending to the last rose bushes and prepared to travel.
**
Time and space traveled around so fast that it felt frozen. Within minutes you were in the World of the Kais. It still looked just as majestic as it did the last time you visited. The sky's beautiful ombre of purple and lilac illuminated over the greenest grass. Ponds of water and random flower beds were scattered throughout the area. It was truly such a peaceful place.
However, it just felt so empty this time around. You started to get sad as you remembered the other Kais that once took up so much space. You glided your thumb against the silk fabric of your chiton (an ancient Greek clothing reference).
"Y/n?" You turned your head from the scenery to the voice in front of you. Then down a bit. You smiled at the sight of the one and only Supreme Kai. You bowed to him and Kibito.
"Greetings, Supreme Kai! I received your message. Is everything okay? How are you?" You asked. Supreme Kai's mouth flashed a small smile while he and Kibito bowed to you.
It had been a while since he'd seen you as well, so it was refreshing to see you once more. Seeing you reminded him of the positive note you left when you first saw him. Your initial patience truly helped him to blossom into the wise Kai he was today. He could never forget how you helped process his grief while he trained. The memory stuck with him for years.
He scanned your form. Supreme Kai also couldn't deny himself that he liked your outfit. It was so simple yet symbolic of the people you served. He liked everything about you at that moment but assured himself it was a matter of admiration.
"Greetings! I am doing just fine, hopefully, you are doing the same. You look lovely." He peered up at you with polite eyes. However, a glint of lust sparked within you and a light blush appeared on your cheeks. He had grown a lot in both his character and height since the last time you visited. He seemed calmer, relaxed even. It was notably attractive. "I called you to help me out with something. I feel like your knowledge would do some good with what I'm about to do."
You assumed that you wouldn't stay long because of Supreme Kai's "ick" towards mortals on the Planet of the Kais. You hoped that this spark of attraction and lust was due to your hormones and illegitimate. He wouldn't even be interested in anything like that anyway. It was in and out, nothing more.
