Chapter Six~ Missing

It's been over a week now. I shouldn't be upset about this. And to be honest, I'm not. I'm just... frustrated. I can't quite explain why but I am. Johnathan has been around Victoria every second of the day. Yes, I know his intentions. But, he always has a hidden agenda.

"You look like shit." Luke commented as he sat beside me at our spot.

"Thanks. I feel like it too."

"Have you seen Ken?" A girl asked.

"No. Why?"

"Are you lying?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Why would I?" I responded.

"Because you have every reason to. You're his friend." She was beginning to get frustrated, placing a hand to her hip and rolling her eyes. "Have you seen him or not?"

"Yes. I have every reason to lie to you. However, I'm not. It makes no sense. I haven't seen him. Go ask someone else." I slammed my locker door and walked away. Why is everyone asking me about him? Am I his keeper?

Come to think of it, I haven't seen him for a while now. Although, it's not an unusual thing for him to disappear on us. However, he would normally leave a message or so to let us know that wherever he is, he's having fun. It's like his weird way of saying 'Don't worry about me I'm fine'.

I was heading to my last class of the day when something hit me. I haven't seen Tracy all day either. If she wasn't at school she'll leave countless messages telling me where she is, what she's doing and reminding me of all the classes I have for the day. If she was at school, well, I'd know for sure.

"Hey man. Why so gloomy?" Luke threw an arm over my shoulder, dropping his weight on me. I shrugged him off.

"Are you okay?" Johnathan asked.

"I might be going crazy but..."

"But what?" we all stopped walking.

"I haven't seen Tracy all day." I responded, searching my brain for any sign of her. Did I upset her in any way? Is she giving me the silent treatment? Even so, I would have seen her.

"I think you are crazy." Luke laughed. They both began walking away when I started talking again.

"And, neither have I seen Ken all week. He hasn't even texted." Those words alarmed them.

"Well, have you tried calling?" Jonathan asked.

"No." I quickly fished out my phone and dialed his number. It's ringing, which means it's on. The phone rang for a while before it went to voicemail. I called again and it was the same thing.

"Maybe he lost it or left it at home." Luke proposed.

"Nah. Ken is careless sometimes but he has prize possessions on his cell, he won't just leave it or lose it. I have a bad feeling in my gut right now." I tried calling again.

"Was it something you ate?" Luke tried to lighten the mood.

"I'll try calling his house." Jonathan offered.

"Aright, I'll call Tracy. Luke, try his cell again."

No answer. What the fuck?

Okay. Even of I did do something wrong and Tracy was mad at me, she would still answer her phone.

I tried calling her again. Still no answer.

Something's definitely wrong.

"Can't get a hold of him. Now his phone is completely shut off." Luke informed. "Jerry said he hadn't been home for a while and hasn't contacted them either." Jonathan added.
