"Suit #3: Clubs. For some reason, clubs has always been my least favorite suit. In all honesty, you're not helping with that."
"What's your deal?"
"Someone's moody."
"Can we just get this over and done with, please?"
"Alright, keep your hair on... golden boy." I could feel her smirking behind the speakers.
"Don't," I warned. "You're not funny."
"Okay, okay. Here's what I want you to do: you're going to open that cupboard to your left." I did as I was told. The voice continued: "Take it, and exit the room through the door on your left." My fingers hovered over the sharp, metal object in front of me. "Hurry up, I haven't got all day." Reluctantly, I picked up the knife. "Axel's waiting for you."
"W-what?" I stammered.
"You're going to kill him."
"No. I'd rather me die than him."
"Woah, calm down. I was only joking." I let out a sigh of relief. "There are a few rabbits outside, and one of them may have accidentally just eaten the key that you'll need to get out."
"How do I get it?"
"Oh my God. You really don't have any brains, do you? Put 2 and 2 together, Aiden."
"I'm not doing that. I made a promise when I was 8 that I'd never hurt an animal."
"Yeah, I know."
"You freak."
"See you later, handsome." With that, I was left alone. The cold air of the night blew viciously in my face. When my gaze fell upon the rabbits in front of me, my heart stopped. "I'm so sorry." I said with tears threatening to escape my eyes.
