(y/n) and the American Aurors found themselves in the gardens of Malfoy Manor.

"Oh, all 50 Hells." (y/n) groaned as Lucius Malfoy and Cornelius Fudge approached. She then quickly straightened her posture and made herself look the part of a proud pureblood faster than Jazz could say Quadpot.

"Miss Black, it is so good to see you on your rightful soil. Isn't that right, Lucius?" The minister beamed.

"Indeed Minister. These seven years without my cousin has been a dull collection of years." (y/n) saw something swim in Lucius' eyes that looked akin to regret.

It made her skin crawl and a sour taste to erupt on her tongue.

"Minister, we were asked only to escort her here and so we leave you." Jared nodded as he spoke and began to walk away as Jazz pressed (y/n)'s wand into her hand.

"I'll keep you updated about things back home." They hummed loud enough for only her to hear earning a collected nod of thanks before Jazz joined Jared and left.

"Narcissa has tea made so we may discuss matters inside where it is far more comfortable than just standing around out here." Lucius nodded to the Minister before he led the two inside his home.

"(y/n)? My how you've grown." Narcissa smiled at the young woman once they entered the Malfoy living room.

This place was too damn big.

"Thank you, Cousin, you look well. How's Draco? The last I heard of him the term little still applied." (y/n) remained cordial with her mother, keeping up with their decided charade to keep things unmuddled.

"He's doing well, he'll be going to Hogwarts this next term." (y/n) ignored how she glowed talking about Draco.

After pleasantries were changed and tea served, business was spoken about. This was where Lucius suggested that (y/n) stay at Malfoy Manor until Grimmauld Place was inhabitable.

"Lucius, as much as I'm flattered by your consideration, I must refuse my intrusion into your lives any more than I've already done." (y/n) watched his barely noticeable flinch at her words.

"Ah, right, we must discuss the matter of visitation with the young Regulus Severus Black during your employment at Hogwarts." The Minister carried on not noticing the look the Malfoys sent their daughter. "Once Grimmauld Place is in order a Ministry official will give the place a look over and write a report and send a copy to MACUSA. He, of course, will be accompanied by one of his guardians in the clan and is not be separated from them at any point."

"Of course Minister. I'd love for him to fill Grimmauld Place with his laughter soon. All the more reason for me to stay there and help move things along." (y/n) chanced a glance at the Malfoys who seemed unaffected by the news of Reggie's existence, their eyes said otherwise.

"Perhaps our dear cousin could stay here tonight so that we could catch up?" Lucius would not let go of this point it would be easier to give in.

"That's a splendid idea." Narcissa was now in on it, can't she catch a break?

"It is better to discuss issues such as this with family so I will take my leave and bid you adieu." Damn the fates, she wasn't getting out of this.

Once the minister had left, the three in the room heaved a collective sigh. One of resignation and two of relief.

"Draco is spending the afternoon and the night at a friend's house we can drop the act for now." Narcissa was the one to speak first and break the silence that fell over the three of them.

"We are grandparents," Lucius said continuing after a pregnant pause. "How old is he? Who's the father?"

"He'll be five this year. A nameless Deatheater that was assumed to be Uncle Rudolph's relative by those who examined what was left of the body. Before you ask I'd rather Father use legilimency to find out how the boy was conceived than verbally relive the worse year of my life bar none." the youngest person in the room said relaxing in her seat and waiting for the pain that comes with someone probing her mind mercilessly.
