Joan looked at Nymphadora like she was a Rockstar and they were her adoring fan as the metamorphmagus joined them at the Portkey Monday morning. They leaned towards (y/n) and mumbled a quick question about what charm was used on the 'cool person's' hair and whether or not they could use it too.
"Nym, what charm did you use on your hair? Joan thinks it's awesome." (Y/n) asked her chin lifting mischievously.
"Darling, the only charms used are the ones I was born with." The younger of the adults smirked roguishly before continuing. "Perhaps a pair of Weasleys has something that could help you out?"
"You're my favorite." Joan said taking mental note about the confidence the metamorphmagus was oozing as she basked in the child's admiration.
"Aunty Nym is the best!" Regulus cheered as Ceres adjusted her books for the umpteenth time.
"Alright we're going to get there then stick together okay. Everyone ready?" (Y/n) looked at the kids then at the other two adults. "Okay, each adult gets a kid to keep track of while in travel, Nym you got Joan, and Rifton and I will keep an eye on the twins, our campsites should be in the same area as the Weasley's if anything happens, the kids are to get with them and stay with them, Rifton should shift so he can track them and Nym and I will assist in keeping the peace. Any questions?"
"No ma'am." Four of the five she was speaking to said.
"You'd make a good head master." Nymphadora muttered.
"Okay kids, hold your adults' hand and on the count we all touch the watering can." She waited for visual confirmation of her instructions and only began counting once she got it.
The moment they touched the Portkey they went through the swirling violently speeding vortex of magical transportation. They landed at the campgrounds of the World Cup with a light thump of their feet. The wizards in charge of directing them to their site took a moment of watching them in silence before looking at the schedule in their hands and then at the map on the other page and gulped.
"Miss Potter-" she interrupted the wizard's words.
"Black, despite the papers going through I never spent any time as a Potter. There should be a sight under Black for six yes?"
"Cousin, I think you broke him." Nymphadora smirked as she watched the wizard began to stumble over his words as he began scrambling.
"Oi, Alduin, what's keeping you?" One of the guides walked over then looked at the group and then took the schedule from the wizard that probably knew of the events in the US, and looked through it with a sigh. "Unfortunately, Miss Black, Mr. Malfoy has changed your site location to be closer to his despite your desire to have distance from the VIP section. Now you are about in the middle of it. Next to his and his son's. I'll take you and your group there."
The tent that her father had provided them with was obviously a bit big from the outside. Causing Nymphadora and her to share a disgruntled look.
"Ah, (y/n), I see you've traveled well." Lucius had come to stand by her side with Draco in tow.
"Of course, Cousin." She didn't look at him but sent a look to Ceres who gritted her teeth before grabbing Draco's sleeve.
"Uncle Draco, can you play exploding snap with us?" The girl pulled out all of the stops and sent the blond her best pair of puppy eyes.
Lucius took one look at that and nudged his son and gave him a nod. Immediately giving in to the cuteness of his granddaughter without a fight.
Draco had to stop himself from sneering as he recalled the reaction he received when he wanted to play exploding snap with his friends. But one glance at the girls eyes made him pause, behind the cuteness there was a faint light of disgust tinting her gaze, she too didn't want to do it. His mind tried to connect the dots as she pulled him into their tent along with the weird haired woman, Joan, and the man he gathered was Rifton.
