Point of views will be occasionally switched between Emilia and Rio without me adding the name. When the pronouns are switched that's when the pov has changed.

"I love it," I said, staring at the ring in awe. Damon just smiled and grabbed my hand as he led us into the restaurant.

"You look so beautiful." He told me again. I hugged his arm, mumbling a thank you.

"I'm glad we could finally have fun together and spend some time together. I'm glad we aren't fighting anymore," I said.

"I know babe. I just wanted the best for you.." he said as we made our way out of the restaurant. We had a great time, nice dinner. Everything seemed perfect, but I couldn't hope but think about Rio. I wonder if Damon hadn't become so distant the past few months; would I have even started to feel this way towards Rio.

Who am I kidding? I couldn't blame it on the issues in my relationship. The minute I laid eyes on Rio I couldn't stop thinking about him. I only found him attractive at first, but now it was more. I loved spending time with him, I couldn't hope but keep thinking about that kiss we shared three days ago on thanksgiving. We haven't talked since then.

I told Eddie everything Damon told me and he said the same as Rio; that Damon was lying to me, but he proved it. He showed me the ring, when he got his passport and the tickets he was trying to buy.

"Bye babe," Damon said as he leaned down and kissed my lips lightly.

"Bye. I'll see you later, love you." I started walking towards the door.

"Love you too!" I heard him shout back before I closed the door. I got in my car and headed to work.

"Hey Emilia." My boss greeted me as I made my way to my desk which was across from his.

"Hi Mr. Abanto," I spoke back. "How are you?" I asked.

"Good, but I'll be great if you let me take you out," he said.

I let out an awkward laugh. Does he ever take no for an answer? "Sorry Mr. Abanto, I have a fiancé." I held my hand up, showing the ring.

He nodded. "It was worth a try," I heard him mumble.

The phone rang. "Liniel Papers Corporation. Mr. Abanto's office, how may I help you?" I answered.

"Well, hi. I should order paper from here more often if I'm going to be greeted by someone like you with a voice like that," the man spoke into the phone.

"Okay you're looking to buy paper, I'll forward you to Mr. Abanto's phone." I got right to business. I didn't come to work to flirt over the phone. Besides, I have a fiancé.

"Wait-" I pressed the button to forward him to Mr. Abanto's line before giving him a chance to exchange anymore words with me. I looked over at him and nodded, indicating the man was now on his phone.

He began making an offer with the man and I zoned him out as I started thinking about Rio. I hadn't talked to him in three days and it felt like forever. He didn't reach out to me either. Was he regretting the kiss? Because if so I'll just let him know it won't happen again and we can go back to normal. My thought and feelings won't though.

Maybe I should text him. My impulsive thought took over and texted him 'hi.'

Mr. Abanto didn't mind me being on my phone, especially times like these where he made sales and I had nothing to do. I stood up. "I'm going to get hot cocoa, want anything?" I whispered to him. He shook his head and with that I walked out of the office. I walked past the cubicles, before hearing a 'pst' from one of them. I stopped and looked around, seeing Brent. One of my coworkers. "Hi Brent," I spoke.
