As I eat my pancakes that Eddie made, I hear someone walking in the kitchen. I look over and see Danny. I bring another piece of pancake to my mouth after saying good morning to him. Eddie always makes the best pancakes.

"Is he treating you right? That's all I ask," Eddie said, continuing the conversation we were having before Danny walked in.

I smiled and nodded. He's sweet to me, so sweet. Apart from the times when he's a complete asshole and calling me a fool for getting cheated on. "Yeah, it's going really good." I replied. It was awkward to speak about this now only because Danny's here.

Eddie gave Danny what was left of the food. He thanked him and took a seat next to me at the island, putting me in the middle between he and Eddie.

"Enough about me, what's going on with you and Tessa? You're back together," I said.

He nodded before biting the long strip of bacon. "She actually called me," he said. I could see the smile tugging away as he fought it. Eddie was always the one who chased her, and I hate it, I hate how she treats him. But she makes him happy, even now he's so happy.

"She did?"

He nodded. "Yeah she apologized. She said she missed me and she realized how wrong she was, for everything and you know for making me choose." He explained.

I nodded. "You believe her?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Not really, but she made an effort. Let's see how long it lasts," he said. He was waiting to be hurt, to be disappointed.

I fucking hate Tessa.

"Where is he anyway?" Danny asked.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Your boyfriend."

"Oh, he's still asleep," I said. Now that I've told him this, I couldn't fight the constant urge to go back to our room. If Danny did do what Rio thinks he did, he's dangerous.

I sat my fork down, I couldn't eat anymore. There were still two pancakes left but I felt so full. I groaned and slid the plate a little away from me.

I heard Eddie laugh. "There he is, speak of the devil."

I turned as Rio walked in the kitchen, he just sent Eddie a glare as he walked over to us. His eyes quickly went to Danny then to me as he got in front of me. He placed his lips against mines, lingering them there for a second before pulling away. He grabbed my plate and walked over to the table across from the island, sitting down. There were two more empty stools, just not any next to me.

"We're leaving today, right?" Rio asked, looking at Eddie for an answer.

"No tomorrow," answered Danny.

Rio's lips formed into a thin line, his eyes moving to land on me. He licked his lips and beckoned me over. "Come here," he said.

I immediately hopped off the stool and took a few steps towards him before he grabbed my hips and pulled me in his lap. I immediately took in his scent and body warmth, the kitchen was a little chilly. "Good morning," I said.

"Good morning," he replied.

"You okay?" I asked, he seemed grumpy. Maybe it was because he just woke up, but he's hardly ever grumpy in the morning.

He tightened his grip around my waist and placed a kiss behind my ear. "I don't want to be here."

I laughed in response, he sounded like a kid that couldn't get his way. I turned so I was sitting across his lap. I pecked his lips. "It's one more day, we leave tomorrow. I have to go to my dad's," I reminded myself out loud.
