I let out a frustrated sigh as I scrolled on my laptop for an apartment. I didn't see any that I took interest in."I don't know why you're even looking for a place to live. You know you're always welcome here, hell you could move all your things in here if you wanted to. It's big and there's plenty of room, you wouldn't even have to pay rent," Eddie said and plopped down on the couch next to me.
"I knoww, but I don't want to be a nuisance. Besides, I recently can't stand Tessa. Especially after what you told me," I said.
"This is exactly why I didn't tell you."
"You know she asked me and I quote, 'how long am I going to be homeless?' Says she wants alone time with you and can't accomplish that with me here." I said.
I watched him as his eyebrows furrowed. "She had no right to say that to you. Is that all she said?" he asked.
"She just said all she had to do was tell you she didn't want me here. Like all she had to do was snap her fingers and you'll throw me out, she made it seem like she has you wrapped around her finger. She was wearing my fucking sweater." I said, getting angry at the thought of it.
Eddie let out a scoff. "You know that's not true. I won't even kick you out if you were the problem, you know that right?"
I nodded and smiled. "I know Eddie."
"Good." He stood up, leaned down and pecked my forehead. "I'm gonna to talk to her. Goodnight," he said.
"Goodnight."

"I'm really glad you agreed to have dinner with us, Emilia. Just because you and Damon aren't talking right now doesn't mean you're not family," Victoria said.
Martin smiled at me and nodded.
"We broke up, I moved out. It's not a petty argument." I clarified.
Victoria nodded with a frown. "Well no matter what, you'll always be family to us. You're always welcome here, if you need anything, we're here."
I sent her a small smile and nodded. "Thank you.. thanks for always treating me the best, you really did make me feel like I belong," I said truthfully. Sadly I knew this would be the end of our relationship.
We finished eating dinner and Victoria was going to serve desert but I made up a lie about being called in for work.
I sighed as I took my key out, sticking it in the lock of Eddie's door. I heard chatter, more than two voices. I wasn't sure if Tessa was still here anyways after what I told Eddie. I would have to ask him about it later.
"Hey Emilia," Danny spoke once I entered the house, closing the door behind me. He seemed to be the only one that saw me, but once he spoke, Eddie and Rio both looked over.
"Good, you're back. We were just talking about you," Eddie said.
"You were?" I asked as I made my way over to him, sitting next to him on the couch.
"Yeah. Basically we're throwing a party tomorrow and we were talking about who we were going to invite and Danny asked were you coming, but the reason why I never brought you up is because I know you wouldn't skip work for a party. You're a workaholic, and he thinks he can somehow convince you to come," Eddie explained.
I looked over at Rio and he just leaned back against the couch across from us, drinking out of his blue solo cup. I saw him mumble something to himself before taking another swig.
