Her face when I told her I kissed Lux kept replaying in my head. I'm so fucking angry she didn't tell me, images of my hands wrapped tightly around Danny's neck flashed through my mind. Fuck, that's why she didn't tell me.

I didn't kiss Lux, she kissed me.

Stop talking to me. Just like old times where the cousin chases the whore. You like the attention.

I said some fucked up shit to her, I know but I don't care. I'm fucking fuming, where the fuck is she? After I saw her in the backyard of course with that fucking Grey guy I haven't seen her since. "Where is she?" I asked Eddie.

He sipped his drink before letting his green eyes land on me, looking up at me as I stood over him by the couch. "She left, like thirty fucking minutes ago. About time you noticed," he said, the judgment clear as water in his voice.

"How the hell did she leave? She drove here with me."

"I gave her my keys, so you're driving me home." He said.

"Like hell I am," I replied.

"It's your fault, you're driving me home." He repeated. "I'll just drive you to her building to get your car," I said.

He nodded in agreement.

As we got ready to leave, Emilio asked me about his daughter but Eddie made up a lie. "I'm too good of a friend to you," he grumbled as we walked towards my car.

I laughed. "Oh really?"

He glared at me.

-

I pulled up in front of Emilia's building. "You're not coming up with me?" Eddie asked once he stepped out of the car.

"No. I have to go somewhere," I said.

"What happened?" he asked.

"She fucking kissed him," I whispered harshly.

"No she didn't, he kissed her." Eddie said.

"You knew?"

He nodded. "You're probably going over to his place right now, that's exactly why she didn't tell you."

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" I said angrily.

"Because she asked me not to and she had a good reason," he said.

I walked away from him, not saying anything else because if I would've stayed I would've ended up fighting him outside of her building. Why the fuck didn't he tell me, what kind of fucking friend is he?

-

I knocked on the door. He opened it and I immediately pushed him back before swinging, my fist collided with his nose. "What the fuck!" he groaned out as he held his now bleeding nose.

"You kissed her?" I asked.

"I see she finally told you," he said.

Yeah, no shit. I punched him once again, this time in the throat before landing another on his jaw. "Leave her the fuck alone Danny, I'm serious. Not this one," I said.

It started with Maisy. Then Lux was next and after that he hated me, he probably did all along because we were close and he fucked Maisy knowing I liked her. It didn't stop at Lux though. We went on a trip to the poconos once, it was my uncle and mother's attempt to get us talking again. There was this girl I met, she was who I talked to for the three weeks we were there.

Vanessa, that was her name. We met on the bus the way there, we were clicking and she ended up having a cabin near ours. We had sex the third night there, and she had become just that for the trip; sex. She didn't mean shit to me. Danny couldn't get over what I had done to him so he fucked her, but it didn't bother me. Not one bit, she meant nothing. That was the difference between Danny and I; I could have a girl around me, fuck her everyday and not want to ever be with her because that was something I never wanted or yearned for. Not until now. He thought those girls meant something to me, but it didn't. They never did and that's why he wants Emilia so bad, he knows he can finally hurt me like I hurt him.
