"You okay?". Yoongi asked, his voice came muffled due the ruckus going behind him.
"Give me a sec".
The ruckus stopped and he moved somewhere quite I assume" I am okay".
I said, taking a breath looking around the patio. I was sitting crossed legged on the windowsill and just over the other side everyone was preparing for the dinner. Today we are going to eat outside, barbecue. Then we are going to open the gifts.
"How's Mom and Dad?". I asked after a short pause.
"Upset". He mumbled "This is the first time you were not here for Christmas now for New year". The next words he spoke I could feel his smirk "They are curious about your friend. Very eager to meet actually".
I sigh in exasperation, I miss them. No doubt all the ruckus I heard was them preparing dinner. "Is that Leah's voice?".
This is nothing new. She usually visits and has a casual dinner but here being present during New year is something unusual. "I invited her over for dinner". Now this is new.
I let out a soft laugh at Yoongi's shy tone. "Are Mom and Dad around? I need to tell you all something".
"What's wrong? Everything okay?". Yoongi's tone sounded worried "Did Nathan?". He didn't even complete it. I cut him off.
"No". I said sharply "I just have something to tell you all".
Suga breathed, replying okay. I heard him moving and calling Mom and Dad.
"Hey sweetie, how are you?". Mom's pierced through my heart feeling so nostalgic. "I am okay Mama". My voice broke halfway as I tried to compose myself.
"Hey hey my love what's wrong". I can see my Dad's eyebrows furrowed as he spoke.
"Nothing Dad, don't worry just miss you all". I said "Hello Aunty Min".
"You little brat, don't you dare cry. You ditched us". I barked out a laugh at the playful jab Aunty Min made.
"But on a serious Note darling what's wrong, you sound like I don't know different".
My flickered over to Jungkook who stood in his half pants, half sleeves shirt grilling the meat. Our eyes meet as he sends me a beautiful bunny smile. I bit my lip as my gaze fell on his lips which were on me a few hours ago.
"Different how?". I absentmindedly asked.
"In a good way". Aunty Min said "Now tell us what it is you have to say".
I took a deep breath "I am filing a complaint against Nathan". A silence, utter and complete silence followed the other side. "I want that bastard for what he did to me".
"Why?". Dad was the first one to break the silence "Don't get me wrong I am just asking what changed your mind".
I told them everything whatever happened last month from Nathan showing up at The Dance, to him stalking me, the blackmail and his claims. I could feel the anger rising, Mama and Dad, everyone was shocked yet enraged.
