FINAL WISH

11:11  The One

Girls are believed to have a good instincts but I doubt that. Boys instincts will never be wrong.

So the first time I laid my eyes on her. I knew she's the one. I want to court her but...

"Dude, that freshie gave me again a chocolate." Ken showed me his box of ferrero roche.

"You have a girlfriend,tol." tamad kong wika.

"She won't know. And makikinabang naman si Thea dito. Look she's coming."

Nilagpasan niya ako at sinalubong ang kasintahan. He happily gave the chocolate to his girlfriend. Jerk.

Hinatid namin si The sa UB bago pumasok sa SMU. 2nd year MechEng Student ako. I don't ahve plan to continue to avoation since I want to be part of the military.

I want to help build new machineries that will be used in wars. That'll be a great help to the country.

"H-hi." 

Napalingon ako sa babaeng tumawag sa akin. Her short length hair was pretty. She have this intimidating eyes but it hits different for me.

"Yes?" malamig na tanong ko.

"You are the best friend of  Kenneth,right? Uhm...could you please give this to him?"

She handed me a paper bag. Napakunot ang noo ko ngunit kinuha rin ito kalaunan.

"Thank you..."she smiled before walking away.

Kibit balikat akong naglakad patungo sa classroom. Inabot ko kay Ken ang regalo at umidlip na.

Years have pass and I slowly fell inlove with my bestfriend's admirer. Graduating na kami at hindi ko pa rin naamin.

"Pare, look. Timex..."  pinakita sa akin ni Ken ang hawak niyang vintage watch.

"Magkano?"  tanong ko.

He get his phone and took a picture of it. Nilagay niya ito sa google at after few seconds the result came out.

Php. 30,000.00

"Where the hell did you get money to buy that?"  tanong ko.

"Dia. She gave this to me." nakangising sagot  niya.

I looked at him. The hell.

"Give it back." I seriously told him.

"Why?" 

"Stupid... People might think that you are a gold digger. Give it back. That's too much." 

Ganun nga ang nangyari. Ken gave it back to Dia and I can see through her smiles how happy she is. Maybe that was a test.

I know how much she like Ken but she needs to stop. I waited outside the health and sciences building.

"Steffi? Right?  Dia Ferrer's friend." tawag ko sa babaeng nakasalamin.

"Uhh-yes?" takang tanong niya.

"Look. Don't tell anyone taht i am the one who told you this. Sabihin mo kay Dia na may girlfriend na si Ken and she needs to stop her crazy things over him." deretsong wika ko.

Tila naguguluhan pa ito kaya inulit kong sabihin sa kaniya. After a not so long conversation she finally gets it.

Umuwi ako ng araw na iyon sa bago kong apartment . I was shocked when I  saw Dia walking to the higher part of the subdivision. So she live here.

"A-according to the bible..."

"Invalid argument. Why would you use the bible to support your statement? We are in a debate here. Nkt just a simple chika. You are political science student but I am not impressed by your performance." deretsong putol ni Dia sa sophomore.
