Seven years later....

11:11  Justice

Injustices and prejudice are all over the world. No one can stop this because our world will be so perfect without them. And a perfect world is sucks. No challenge and impossible to achieve.

But for me, I may not be the best prosecutor but I can make someone pay for their sins inside...the bar. I deliver justice to those who are oppressed.

"You love her so you didn't kill her." the lawyer told her client.

I rolled my eyes and stand up. Now everyone's attention is on me.

"Objection your honor. The lawyer is leading the accused." I looked at the lawyer sharply.

"Objection sustained."

I smirked and watch how the lawyer rolled her eyes. She faced the judge and told her that she has no more question.

Now it's my time to shine. I fixed my court gown and walked confidently infront of the accused.

"5:39 a.m., March 26 of the current year. Where are you?" I asked him.

"A-at my house."

"What are you doing there?" I asked him again.

"I was cleaning the patio. I saw my wife arrived at the house. She didn't come home the other night and I was shocked to see her coming out from a man's car." he responded.

I walked towards the court reporter and hand him the flash drive conatining a video. I want to end this hearing now.

"Your honor. This video is from the cctv camera of their neighbor during that day and time."

You can see how the man slapped her wife but hugged her eventually. After a while he slowly get his knife and stabbed her several times.

"I love her! I don't want her to go outside but she is stubborn so she deserves that! I love her really love her!! I want her only by my side!!"

The man shouted inside the court. One of the jail officer come and injected something to calm him down.

"You don't love her. You are obsessed with her." I told him on his face.

Bumalik ako sa aking upuan at pinanood na umiyak ang lalaki. I hate this kind of cases.  Killing someone you love.

Just like what I expected, the justice for the woman has been served well. I went back to our office after that.

"Prosecutor Ferrer, they are waiting for you at the conference hall." my secretary told me.

I nodded at her and went on my way to the fifth floor. As I entered the hall they welcomed me with claps.

"Congratulations," the prosecutor general of FBI told me.

Nagulat ako dahil ngayon lang sila bumati sa akin. I never lose a case since my first year in the field. I was once a criminal lawyer before I became a prosecutor.

After I passed my board exam in UK, I practiced law 4 months in the Philippines, 4 months in USA and 4 months in UK.  I got my international licensed quick because I topped the bar.

"You are the youngest head of the prosecution department of FBI. Congratulations because you can now go back home in the Philippines."

I don't know how to react when Prosecutor Torres said that. One of my friend here assisted me to sit down on one of the chairs.

"A-are you firing me? Sir with all due your respect---"

"No, Prosecutor Ferrer. How can I fire such a brain? Here's the thing. Miss Liu."  he looked at his secretary.
