Kirby and the Dark Stars (OLD)

Chapter 2: Knight possession

It was a gloomy morning, the sky was grey and cloudy.  Everyone was discussing a particular issue that had been constantly happening over the past week.

"This is beginning to grow annoying. I don't enjoy waking up everyday in a different location," started Meta Knight, before taking a sip of his coffee and continuing his sentence, "yesterday I woke up on the side of the courtyard's fountain, and then this morning, I've woken upon a balcony edge. It's getting more and more weird, as well as more dangerous every day." Meta Knight finished.

"I thought they gave you medication to take to stop your sleepwalking and your hallu.. other thing? How come their back?" Fomey asked, curious about what was going on.

"Well, I am taking my medication, yet they came back. But theres something different about this sleepwalking, there's no recreating, no believing something happening. It's just walking up somewhere else, it's like my bodies doing it's own thing to what my head thinks it is, and it's very weird." Meta Knight replied to Fomey, looking at his cup, "Oh, and try not to eat too many cookies I know that everyone else here is scoffing them down, but you know that you get sick if you eat too much chocolate, and I would believe you don't want that." Meta Knight added, putting his hand out so Fomey would give him the cookie before they did end up making themself sick. Meta knight then turned away from the table to lift his mask up to pop it in his mouth, he proceeded to lower his mask again and turning back to the table.

"Hmm, perhaps some sort of demon or spirit is trying to possess you?" Sir Ebrum added, which didn't really help at all, since this only made the situation worse. "I mean, I don't think it's likely and I don't even know why it would, but it is possible."

"I'm sure there is no demon or spirit in the castle dad, after all the only ghosts here were Kirby, Falalal and Fololo in costumes, (and that one NME sent to get their money) and nightmares been defeated, I'm sure its something else! After all, what's the point in making someone sleepwalk?" Tiff added, attempting to try to lighten up the mood, by pointing out how ridiculous her dad, Sir Ebrum's idea was.

For a moment, every person in the room's attention had now turned onto Fomey. Since they were now running round the room looking quite upset, the reason for that being that Kirby was clinging onto one of her tails, and shouting what they could only assume was "Mama, mama!" Before they all turned back to face the table and continued discussing the matter at hand.

"Ha! I didn't realise you and Fomey were the ones behind Kirby's existence! No wonder why you know everything about him, bet you in a few years his eyes will turn a bright shade of yellow! He even looks kind of like Fomey, pink!" Escargoon jokingly said to Meta Knight as he and King Dedede both burst out laughing. Meta Knight rolled his eyes, he didn't find find Escargoon's 'joke' amusing at all.

"CAN I GET A LITTLE HELP PLEASE!?!?" Screamed Fomey, who was now waving their arms up and down, as Kirby wouldn't let go of her tail no matter how if she tried to pull him off, or swing her tail as hard as possible. Meta Knight got down to go help out Fomey, Tiff, Tuff, Blade and Sword knight all saw this as an opportunity and left the table to decide what to do about the situation.

"Hey why don't we monitor Meta Knight's behaviour! It could get us somewhat closer to figuring out what's going on here." Suggested Tiff, the four all nodded and decided when they would watch him. "Me and Tuff will see how he sleeps tonight, after all, our parents are so oblivious, they don't even realise we're missing half the time. You two can watch him throughout the day, since you typically are with him anyway. Just keep a eye out for weird behaviours and don't make it too obvious what you're doing!" She explained to the other three, they all nodded and went back to the table, which was now completely bare of food, drinks, plates, cups and even it's tablecloth. From previous incidents, the lot of them all assumed this was Kirby's doing and that he ate it all, from the looks he was getting from Fomey and Meta Knight, one looking frustrated and the other looking done with everything.
