Kirby and the Dark Stars (OLD)

Chapter 16: Fire served up freezing cold

The sky of dreamland was a dark grey, it was very cloudy as a storm was happening, despite the lighter weather of earlier. Thunder was heard crackling and lightning glowed ominously on the dark skies. After a busy day, Tiff and Kirby walked up to the stop of one of the towers of Castle Dedede, seeing Fomey stood on the balcony, with a sad look on her face as she tapped her ringed paw, it's blue jewel shining, on the side.

"Oi you? Are you doing alright there?" Tiff asked to Fomey who turned her head back and smiled awkwardly.

"Oh yeah, I'm alright, I just remembered someone from my past!" Fomey answered to tiff.

Suddenly the three as heard a loud roar and screaming, they all panicked and ran down the stairs to the source of the sound. When they got there, Sword, Blade, Meta Knight and a large group of waddle dees and waddle doo, all outside a door where the noise was, Fomey turned to Tiff.

"Go, whatever this is must be clearly too dangerous and if you don't want to take Kirby with you, I'll look after him for you!" She explained Tiff nodded to her.

"Take care of Kirby please!" Tiff asked before running off. Fomey picked up Kirby and went and hid behind Meta Knight.

The door then bursted open and a wolfwrath like creature came through the door but it looked different it had a collar belonging to Eli on its neck, blizzard like eyes and a tipped tail. The wolfwrath knocked down all the waddle dees and Waddle doo, and headed down the corridor, the waddle dees got up and ran after it followed by Sword and Blade.

Meta Knight went to grab Fomey's hand but noticed she wasn't there he turned around and she and Kirby were viewing into the room where Crystal lied there with a large, bloody claw mark on her face, next to a broken needle.

Meta knight grabbed Fomey and Kirby and joined the chase after it. They caught up with the rest as the beast hit off all of the waddle dees, Waddle doo and Sword and Blade as they kept trying to attack the beast.

It stopped hitting back after it had its mussel tied up by a whip which belonged to Meta Knight who had used it, though he struggled against its struggles to try and escape the grip of the whip that he was using on it as the others attack it not really doing much but cutting its thick fur.

Fomey held Kirby in her arms, wondering what she should do to help out, she asked herself over and over again before Kirby looked up at her.

"Poyo!" Kirby exclaimed, Fomey looked down at him.

"What was that Kirby? You think I should take a claw at the wolfwraths tummy?" Fomey asked him.

"Poyo, poyo!!" Kirby continued to exclaim, Fomey smiled and placed him down, before straightening her bow, before showing her claws and adding,

"Okay! I will Kirby!" Fomey started to head up to the so-called wolfwrath but before doing so, signalled to Meta Knight who tightened his grip!

"Don't worry Meta, I'll reward your help later.~" Fomey added quickly before she took a running leap at the wolfwrath, slashing her claws down it, creating two bloody claw marks, it screamed out loud, while all this was happening Tiff and Tuff had found their way there and were watching from behind a wall.

"Hey Tiff, didn't Kirby already kill the wolfwrath already? And doesn't it looked different?" Tuff asked to his older sister, Tiff nodded in agreement.

"Yeah tuff your right it does look different in a wa- AHH!" Tiff had began to reply but just as she did the wolfwrath broke the whip and began running in their direction. It took a bite at Tiff who was saved from its range from fomey taking a dive at Tiff, moving her out the way.

"Where's Kirby?!" Tiff panicked, fomey looked at her blinking before a purple bubble rolled over which had Kirby inside, fomey then grabbed tiff and tuff and pulled them out the way and moved Kirby telekinetically with them out the way.

"Don't worry he's in a special bubble, only I can pop it, nothing can hurt him for now!" Fomey exclaimed to them, before looking aside and muttering something. Kirby bounced in the bubble happily, they smiled at him before Fomey turned back to them.

"So why did you come here it's dangerous here, you'll get hurt!!" Fomey exclaimed freaking out from worry for Tiff and Tuff, she created a couple of bubbles, one of them in each bubble. Fomey suspended the bubbles in the air safer so they'd float out of reach.

She then turned around before screaming in fear and dropping down to the ground in shock as the wolfwrath towered other her but she wasn't hurt as Meta Knight slashed and knocked it aside before he picked up Fomey and held her in his arms as the wolfwraths eyes turned yellow.

It then turned into the figure of Eli, injured and bleeding he appeared scared and confused and began crying hiding in a ball, Fomey lowed the bubbles as they popped once brought down.

"So why did you attack everyone, huh?!" Tiff demanding questioned Eli, who looked up at her, eyes full of tears.

"I DIDNT WANT TO ALL I REMEMBER WAS BACKING AGAINST A WALL IN FEAR AS CRYSTAL CORNERED ME AND THEN I WOKE UP HERE INJURED!" He explained, bursting into a crying mess. They looked at each other as he ran off. Just then King dedede, Escargoon and Crystal who had a bandage across her face walked in.

"What's going on here, what's all the racket about?" Dedede questioned everyone as he walked up to the five before Blade and Sword walked over.

"Well you see sire, one of those beasteons was forced to be a wolfwrath like creature, and attack us we don't know why but it happened!!" Sword and Blade explained to them, Crystal rolled her eyes before smirking, knowing what this was all about, before commenting to them.

"Oh what nonsense you have, why don't we all go back to our rooms now?" Everyone walked off in their own directions, Meta held Fomey tighter, as she held his face closer to his, giving him a little kiss, before he smirked at her.
