Chapter 35: A little ghost in snow

I plan to use this chapter for both character introduction but also to try and write a blood moon, ask any questions you need to!

Tiff, Tuff and Noah were all spending a night together, to have a sleepover. While Kirby was to stay at his house. It was the late evening, just after dinner, and they were in Tiff and Tuff's bedroom, to show Noah the strange music box they were given by Eevlin.

"I don't really know why Eevlin gave us this, I mean it's very pretty, I'll give her that. But it doesn't seem to work, and I'm pretty sure it was another family members." Tiff explained to Noah, showing him the music box.

"Oh it kind of makes me think of underwater chests with those silver linings! I think she might not of realised it didn't work and just wanted to give you something nice!" Noah said, comparing the music box to a treasure chest for the depths. Both Tiff and Tuff were a bit surprised with the comparison but shrugged it off.

"Hey if it's old, I wonder if it's haunted, maybe the name that we can't see is who it's haunted by!" Tuff theorised, Noah seemed intrigued by this idea but Tiff was certainly not impressed.

"Don't be ridiculous, it's not haunted! And even if it was, why would she just give it to us?" Tiff argued back at him.

"Who in the right mind wants to keep a haunted item!?" Tuff argued back. Before Noah cut in.

"Stop it both of you, we don't need you fighting! This is meant to be a fun night, not a argument filled evening." Noah told them, the two looked at each other before nodding to Noah.

"Yeah you're right.." They both agreed, Tiff sighed. The three began to decide on a game to play together.

After finishing the game, the three found themselves rather tired. Tuff, Tiff and Noah all decided that is was time to sleep.

A couple hours later-

Tiff woke up rather suddenly to the sound of music, she woke up Tuff, who woke up Noah. She looked over to the music box which was now playing the song. It had a small shiny eevee spinning round, as a gentle melody continued to play.

"Hey, what's that?" Noah said, pointing at a trail of icy paw prints. They all began to look at the paw prints, they seemed to of originated from the music box, before leaving the room.

"Hey Tiff, should we follow the paw prints?" Tuff asked Tiff.

"No Tuff, it's late at night, besides we don't even know what is it, for all we know it could be something extremely dangerous!" Tiff explained to Tuff, but he just seemed to ignore her.

"Suit yourself, me and Noah are going to go find what it is." Tuff told her, as both he and Noah left the room. Tiff stood there for a second.

"Wait up!" She called after them.

In the hallway

The three walked down the hallway, keeping their eyes on the paw prints, while looking out for danger. It was a dark night and the moonlight coming through the windows was a bright red and shining through any window that wasn't covered. They came to another corner as Tiff sighed.

"Maybe we should just go back.." She told them, but Tuff was having none of that.

"We're already this far, we might as well keep going." Tuff told her. Tiff sighed and the three of them continued to walk down the corridor.

After another few minutes, they heard an unfamiliar voice, humming away the same tune of the music box. It was a high childish voice. The three began to run after the voice, still following the paw print trail, before coming to a corner and seeing someone around the other side.
