Chapter 17: Crying flowers of light

It was a later evening, most people in Castle dedede were deeply asleep though a few people were still awake. Two of those people were Fomey and Meta Knight who were reading a book together.

Fomey was reading since Meta Knight was a little tipsy, since the two had a few drinks together. Fomey found herself getting sleepy and closed the book, placing it down on the bedside, taking off her reading glasses as well.

Meta knight then grabbed Fomey's face, as he pulled her in for a kiss, Fomey gave one back but then turned her head, hearing crying from a different room.

Meta knight still tried to kiss her, burying his face into her fur, though she just grabbed his hand and pulled him out of bed and walking out the door. Fomey began to walk down the corridor, dragging meta knight behind her by his cape.

"Wheerrreee are we goiinngggg Fluffyyyy?~" Meta knight asked Fomey, as he slurred his words, Fomey sighed as she made him stand up so he'd walk and not be dragged along.

"To find out who or what that crying is coming from." She explained to him, Meta Knight puffed out his cheeks and groaned in annoyance.

"Butttt I wannaaa spend the night alone togetheeerrr!" Meta Knight continued to groaned. Fomey rolled her eyes with a small smile, as she stopped outside arter and stevies room, before knocking and opening the door, pulling Meta Knight along.

"Hey Arter, Stevie are you two alright? Me and Meta heard some crying from in here so we came to check on you!" Fomey exclaimed as she walked in, Meta Knight followed her, before he fell on his face, before just kicking his feet, fomey huffed at this. Arter walked out of one of the rooms before smiling at them awkwardly.

"Sorry bout him Arter, he got a little carried away." Fomey explained to him, Arter nodded.

"So about the crying, me and Stevie have adopted a couple of daughters since we've been wanting children, HEY! STEVIE COME OUT HERE!!" Arter explained to them, before calling for Stevie. Fomey grabbed Meta Knights hands pulling him up right, though he buried him self back in Fomey's fur.

Then Stevie walked out of the room, he was holding two small puffballs one of them was a very light lavender bunny who had a little light yellow bow on, which matched the colour of the yellow wolf who had a light lavender bow on.

"This light bunny is named Lily and this is light wolf is named Snowdrop, Arter can you please take one of the little fluff balls?" Stevie explained to them as Arter walked over to him and taking Snowdrop from his arms.

Stevie and Arter were calming and soothing Snowdrop and Lily, Fomey went to ask if them wanted any help with calming them but she didn't since she found Meta Knight burying himself in her fur as he then began biting her and the sucking her cheek into his mouth meaning she couldn't talk. She pushed him off, he stood there for a second before just.. falling on his face. Fomey then faced Arter and Stevie.

"Would you two like some help, even if it's just a little lullaby." She offered to the two, who both nodded.

Fomey then created a small glowing ball which seemed to have a soft and gentle lullaby playing from it, she then created it a stand from thin air and placed it down,

"This might help a little, sorry it's nothing big!" She told them smiling, almost apologetic.

"Thank you very much Fiona!" Stevie thanked to her as Snowdrop and Lily began to settle down in his and arters arms, Meta knight sat up.

"Actuuallllyyy, her name is Aurrrroooraaaa!!" Meta knight added, as he slurred his words very aggressively, sitting up. Arter and Stevie rolled their eyes.

"Whatever you drunken blueberry!" Stevie replied with a touch of sass. Fomey sighed in relief,.

"Well I must be taking him back to our room-" Fomey went to explain but got cut off as crystal and Florence walked in the room. Florence walked up to Arter and the two began to have a conversation about things, Crystal raised her eyebrows.

"So the two of you adopted a couple daughters..? Well done! I hope the best for you!" Crystal told Stevie before turning around and noticing Fomey trying to get a rather tipsy Meta Knight off the floor before she was grabbed and pulled down by him, Crystal blinked for a couple seconds.

"Why is there a drunk blueberry demon here??" Crystal asked everyone, Stevie shrugged at her.

"I don't know, fomey came here due to the crying and she brought him with her." Stevie explained to her, the two stared for a moment as Fomey attempted to stand up but found herself being pulled down as Meta Knight tugged on her tails and she fell down once again.

"This is so dumb." Crystal commented before picking Fomey up and placing her aside. Before pushing Meta Knight over before then walked out the room. Everyone watched her leave with a look of unamused. Fomey looked down at meta knight before rolling her eyes and helping him up.

"I think it's about time we actually go back now, come on." She told him before pulling him out the room, as he once again tried to bury himself in her fur again. Florence noticed the little glowing ball giving off a lullaby, she smiled and thought to herself.

"Well I think I should get going let you all sleep!" Florence added before leaving the room. Arter and Stevie smiled to themselves before heading to sleep.
