SAMMY.

THE NEXT DAY, I woke up very happy with the thought of Morgan, and sad about what I said to Xavier. I was way too harsh, but he deserves it.

I drive to school.
After math class, I see Lucian with a Bunch of guys in the hallway. it's like he's telling a joke or something, cause they are all laughing. He's kind of social that way.

He's having a good time. how on earth will I tell him about his dad and Gina? I wish I could just keep this from him. But One thing Lucian hates is keeping secrets from him. He tells me everything, well the important ones, which are mostly unimportant.

I should tell him.

I summon courage and stride toward him, I pull him out from his group, dragging him to the corner as he grumbles.

I loosen my grip and he yanks out of it and squishes his hand.

"What the hell, Sam."

"I'm sorry I just need to tell you something."

"I think you mean Tracy."

I lower my brows, confuse.

"Tracy's invite, a celebration about Her not getting flunked." He explains with wide hands.

"Oh, shoot...I forgot about that."

"Well, She's mad as hell. I was the only one who came."

"I'll just apologize." I don't put much interest in that.

"Wait, If that's not what you want to talk to me about, then what is? he leans forward, attentively.

I gulp. Still thinking if I should tell him.
"I saw your dad and Gina together, Yesterday." I quickly say, saving myself from further thinking.

His mouth opens. He blank stare at me. He's pretty shocked.

He clenches his Jew. And I'm afraid he might kill his dad this time. Sons killing their dads is not a new story no more.

"Fuck!" He slams his hands on the wall.

My heart skips. This really hurt him. Maybe I shouldn't have told him.

"He...he promised he would stop." His chest is pumping out heavily. Oh God, I shouldn't have told.

"Well nowadays promises are lies," I say referring to Xavier.

"Guess today is the day my family falls apart. His voice low.

"You telling your mom?"

"Am I covered in flours or why the fuck is people staring at me?"
Tracy cuts in, standing among us.

I turn to her, and her eyes meet mine. If her looks could kill, I will probably be under the ground by now. She always expresses her anger with her eyes.

"Tracy I'm really sorry I didn't come to your party, a lot happened that I'm still trying to wrap my head around."

"And by a lot, she means Gina and James." Lucian smiles forcefully. and Tracy gives a stupefied look.

"Wait are they still..." She gasps
"I thought they stopped." She lowers her voice

"We all thought so," Lucian says.

"Oh I pity Sarah, how is she going to handle this truth?" Tracy says to Lucian.

"Well she has to," I say.

As we discuss about our parent's affair, Veronica walks up to us.

She scoffs.
"Since you guys are here chattering I'd assume you haven't heard," veronica says.
