"What?" I tilt my head.

He smirks slightly.
"Oh sorry, you look just like him." James comes closer.

He sighs.
"There's this guy named Brian Walker. He has no relatives, his parents died in a car crash two years back. He ran from the foster home he was kept, nobody I've seen him since then."

How much does he know? This can't happen right now, not now, please. Just a little more time with Sam. God, please.

I nod severally.
"I hope he's okay." I hide out my fears totally.

"Me too, that's why we are looking for him to make sure he's okay." His voice doesn't hide the lies pouring from his mouth.

I catch his evil smirk before he leaves.

I fold my eyes tightly and let out a heavy breath.

He doesn't have enough evidence, he can't actually prove it's me.

I just pray that stalls him a little longer, just so I can have more time with Sam.

SAM.

"I think you two need to talk," I tell Daniel as I dish out a plate of couscous salad.

"And say what? He made it clear that I'm not his son," Daniel says.

George did say that to Daniel, but that was because he was angry. I would be If I was him.

"Yeah, I wonder what kind of a son that white skinny whore would offer him," Veronica says, looking at the blonde who is seated with George.

I smile, Finding it funny.
"She is skinny though, and does look like a whore," I add mockingly.

"Well, the son won't be worst than Daniel." Lucian dishes out a spoon of risotto.

"What's that suppose to mean?"
Daniel wraps his hand around Lucian's neck. He drags him close and ruffles his hair with his knuckles.

Morgan strolls back to us and sits close to me.

"Where did you go?" I ask him.

He smiles and wraps his hand around my shoulder.
"Nowhere."

"Okey, as much as I love this party it's getting boring. Why don't we play a game." Veronica brings up her stupid boredom-killer idea.

"Hell no," I say, shaking my head.

"Never."

"It ain't happening."

"Absolutely not."

"Splendid." Daniel always agrees.

"Come on, it's another game," she says.

"What game is it?" I ask.

"Never have I ever." She holds up her drink and swills it.

I get it, she's gonna get us drunk. My mom is here, and I need to be sober at all costs.

"How is it different?" I sneer.

"I'll play." Aneesa holds up a finger as she walks to us.

"Never have I ever dated a guy as sweet as Xavier." She trails her palm on Xavier's arm, then relaxes her head on his shoulder, with her arms wrapped around his.

Xavier lets out an exasperated sigh.

Aneesa has light-dark skin, fuzzy brown hair, and a symmetrical face.

She's that only girl Xavier has ever been with. Aneesa once lived with Tracy's parents, but after the breakup, she traveled back.

She and Hazel are total Bffs, that's what led to the breakup. Xavier picked sides with me, and we bullied Hazel. I'm not proud of that, in fact, I regret everything.
