Third Person POV - at the Atlanta Jail

The large metal doors busted open, revealing two officers escorting a young woman, and three officers following shortly behind.

Arms linked with the police, she walked along the concrete path, not giving any of the prisoners a glance. Jail cell by jail cell, she kept her gaze forward and her face smug as she was led to a quarter of her own.

The sound of the steel bars opening echoed throughout the jailhouse; the clanking ringing louder than the clamor of the other cubicles.

The officers tossed the woman in the cell without a care, and then locked her in before turning around and exiting the premises.

She observed her new "home."

"What'chya in for?"

She switched her gaze from the grey walls to the man sitting in the corner.

"Attempted murder. You?"

"Same here."

She smiled.

"What's your name?"

The stranger stood up and walked over to the woman, holding out his hand for her to take.

"Evan."

She shook his hand.

"I'm Eva."
