Third Person POV - Secret Location - November 11th.

Liam's head pounded as he slowly woke up. The bright sun that shone through the window burned his eyes.

Blinking a few times to clear away his tiredness, he looked around the new room that he was in. His eyes widened when he realized he was no longer in bed with Fallon.

"Good morning, handsome!" a chirpy voice said, somewhere behind Liam.

Furrowing his eyebrows, Liam tried to think past his headache and figure out whose voice that was. He felt sick to his stomach when he remembered.

"Eva?"

The young woman stepped out in front of Liam and smiled brightly at him, eyes almost looking crazed.

"Correct!"

He glared at her, almost making her frown. She caught herself, however, and kept her smile on her face.

"What am I doing here?" he asked, suddenly aware of the ropes holding his arms and legs down to a chair.

His anger left as a new feeling settled in his gut.

"Where's Fallon?"

Knowing that Eva had come into his and Fallon's room to kidnap him, he also knew that she wasn't dumb or sane enough to leave his wife alone.

Eva cocked her her head to the side and looked at the ceiling.

"Why are you worrying about what's-her-name? She doesn't matter anymore, now that you and I are here... together... and alone..."

She walked closer to him as she spoke, and she ran her fingers along his arm, leaning into him.

He tried his best to back his head away before she could do anything.

"Are you forgetting that Fallon and I are happily married? And that I told you I don't have feelings for you?" he harshly questioned.

She backed off of him and chuckled, her cheeky smile never wavering.

"Aw, sweetheart, you didn't mean that! I know a connection when I feel one."

She lifted his chin with her index finger, making them have direct eye contact. Their faces were a mere few inches apart.

"I meant every word," he said firmly.

Eva dropped Liam's chin and walked a little ways ahead of him. She stopped, still facing away.

"Mmm, I don't think you did."

What is she talking about?

Liam knew what he had said, and he knew that he had meant it. He loves Fallon. More than anything.

"You say that you love your wife, but you actions speak otherwise." She spun back around. "What about all of those times you spent with me?"

"Fallon was busy on those days."

She laughed.

"Fine. What about you leaving her by the lake?" she continued.

Liam furrowed his eyebrows in frustration.

"I told her we needed a break."

Eva approached him again, stopping a few feet away.

"Hmm, what about that time where you believed that Fallon had been abusing me? You took my word, a girl you hardly knew, over the word of your wife, the women you had know for years. And, ultimately, it ended up with her almost dying."

She paused.

"Where's the love in that?"

Liam frowned, knowing that she was right. Guilt started to build in his mind.

"Aw, don't be upset, sweetheart. None of that matters now; we're finally together!"

She tried to press her hand into his cheek, but he abruptly pulled away. He glared at her again.

"No," he said firmly.

Eva cut him off before he could continue.

"No? Let's not forget her actions either. Fallon doesn't love you! She blew you off for work, more times than you can count."

"No," he said again.

Despite his guilt for the near death experience of his wife, he was confident in his words.

"Those were all mistakes. We're past that now."

She tilted her head.

"Are you?"

He froze.

Am I?

Her smile widened, thinking that she had finally gotten to him.

Liam looked up and made eye contact with her; his face slightly contorted in a continuous glare.

"Yes, I am. We are."

Eva, for the first time all morning, dropped her smile.

"Now, I'm going to ask again. Where is Fallon?"

She leaned in again, her face almost touching his.

"And I'm going to tell you again," she whispered; a hard stare matching his. "She doesn't matter anymore."

Suddenly, her bright smile returned. She pecked Liam's cheek before swiftly turning around and exiting the room.

The door swung closed, leaving Liam completely alone.
