Third Person POV - at the Atlanta Jail - October 20th

Eva laid on the top bunk of the bunk bed, and Evan sat on the bottom. She stared up at the ceiling. Given the circumstances, there was nothing much to do.

Sighing, she sat up.

"So how did you end up here?"

Evan stuck his head out from the bunk and looked up at his cellmate.

"I already told you," he responded. "I tried to murder someone."

Eva looked down at him. She rested her head on her hand, arm propped up on the mattress.

"I know that. Elaborate."

Evan, getting up from the bed, thought about how he should go about his response. He walked over to the bench that ran along the wall, and then sat down.

"Well, I fell in love with someone, but she didn't feel the same way."

Eva sat silently as she listened to his story.

"So, on her wedding day, I attempted to kidnap her while threatening to stab her," he continued. "However, her husband and father came and rescued her... Oh, and I also stabbed her friend."

She nodded, comprehending what Evan had just told her. Something about this story sounded familiar; she could have sworn she heard Fallon mention something like this happening to her.

She looked up from where she was looking and turned to the man on the bench.

"What was this woman's name?" she asked, hoping that her theory was correct.

Evan made eye contact with her.

"Fallon Carrington."

She lifted her head off of her hand, a wicked smile starting to grow.

"We might not be so different after all," she said, more to herself.

"What do you mean?"

She looked at Evan again.

"I mean, our stories are pretty similar. And, I have an idea that could help us both get what we want."

Looking confused, he stood up and paced around.

"Tell me how you ended up here, first."

Swinging her legs around to dangle off of the side of the bed, she didn't hesitate to tell him what she did.

"Your Fallon married my Liam. I tried to break them up, and it worked."

Evan's gaze lightened up at those words. Before he could say anything, she continued.

"However, Liam figured out what I did and said that he didn't love me back, so I did anything any lovesick girl would have done. I shot his lover."

His eyes widened.

"You shot her!?"

Rolling her eyes, Eva responded, "It's not much different from what you tried to do. Only I succeeded."

Evan sat back down and nodded. He was starting to like where this was going.

"Anyways, I got arrested, escaped, broke into the hospital, ripped Fallon's stomach open, and then killed her. For a moment at least. From what I heard, she survived."

"So tell me how we'll both get what we want."

Hopping off of the bed, Eva formulated a plan in her head. She sat back down on Evan's bunk.

"Well, you love Fallon, don't you?"

He nodded.

"And I love Liam. If we team up, we can steal them from each other."

He smiled.

"I get it. How do you suppose we go about this?"

Eva paused to think, the smile on her face only growing.

"Well, we need to break out, of course, but it shouldn't be too difficult; I've done it before. All we have to do is find a way to get Fallon and Liam away from each other, and I have the perfect plan."

Evan walked over to Eva and sat next to her.

"Elaborate, please."
