Third Person's Pov.

Eliza walked through the long corridors with a prescription in her hand and wondered how to face her patient.

Her patient suffered from Leukaemia, and to make matters worse she was already in a bad state.
She walked while she squinted her eyes shut thinking how to talk about this.

After contemplating her choices she at-last opened the doors that separated the hospital's hallway from the ward. She entered the door with nervousness.

This always happens, she never gets nervous for other things, but work? Definitely is nerve wrecking for her.

"Hi, Mrs. Brane, how are you this afternoon?" She greeted in the most cheerful tone possible.

"I am good Eliza how're you?"

Mrs. Brane knew what was about to happen, she could read the expressions that Eliza's face gave away no matter how hard she tried to concede it with a fake smile.

"It's okay, Eliza! I know it's bad but I just want to know how bad is it?"

Eliza gives out a defeated sigh before saying "I feel apologetic and disheartened to let you know that you have very little time left."

Mrs. Brane gave a knowing look and said "It's okay! I've lived way too long and after my husband died it felt overwhelming. I'm happy to know and say that I have no regrets."

Eliza manages a sad smile before handing over the prescribed medicines and putting her prescription in her folder beside the table.

Her shift ended long back and now she is good to go home. But she was going home with her heart shattered in many bits.

***

Eliza decided it would be best if she took some time off her daily schedule and visit the beach.

She always did it since medical school when things got too rough for her to handle. Especially after todays turn of events she sort of felt dreaded for a moment and needed to clear her head.

She parks her car in the parking area and takes some of her stuff along with her in a Mat.

The area she always sits in is vacant as always as no one really sits this close to the shore and it's in the side.

She always enjoyed the peace more than anyone and listened to waves of the sea shore, to always feel close to nature.

She watched from a distant as a family set up their mat and laughed while playing with each other.
It made her miss her family even more.

After a good minute she gets up and walks towards her car.

She puts away her stuff in the car and just as she was about to put her foot in a voice came ranging from the behind.

"Ms.Eliza Othman?" A deep and strong voice uttered.

She turned and my my wasn't she caught in an absolute trance?

The guy was wearing shades so most of his features weren't visible but his physique said it all and the way he was standing straight with a back arched, Eliza almost found him attractive, almost.

"Yes, that would be me."

"Hello, my name is Xavier and I am a businessman working for the UCLA pharmaceuticals and Co."
