I wake up in a much more better environment and find myself in an improvised situation. The mattress is so soft that it makes me want to not get up.

Regardless of the comfort ness I groggily open my eyes and take a look at my surroundings.

This time I am in a different room with much more better scenery than the previous's.

The walls are beige in colour with contrasting marble floor and inward lights all over the room.

Wow is what comes first in my mind. Because this is too good to hold a captivator despite my situation.

My clothes are changed to a loose long cotton shirt and some Pajamas. My head scarf is a bit loose.

My eyes drift to the nightstand and I see a note there. 'Don't worry, I changed your clothes and put your scarf loose, you can fix it in the mirror with the pins I put there and freshen up in the washroom_Flo'

I am guessing  Flo is the woman who was beside me earlier. Judging by the light coming from the windows it's almost 6.

Oh god! I missed two prayers. Astagfirullah I have never missed any prayers in my life from the age 12.

Oh lord.

Getting up as soon as I can from my bed and run towards the washroom like a mad woman. I change my clothes into the spare dress hung in the washroom and start performing ablution.

After that I tie my scarf in a big way covering my hair, chest and hands. Then, I walk towards the room in search for a prayer mat.

And I almost jump on my premises when I see one. What? How come there's a prayer mat in a house like this.
Are there any Muslims present here? I will ask later.

Wasting no time I start performing my prayers and recite the Dua's necessary.

After performing my salat now I am sitting on my bed deciding my next move. Will I ever be free from Xavier's clutches? Will I ever see the daylight in my freedom again?

What if I never see my family again? What if I never see Sera again? What if.. I never return to practicing pharmacy?

So many thoughts cloud my mind that I almost miss the sound of opening the door.

I turn my head and see the same woman entering the room with a tray on her hand. "Rise and shine El"

"El? My name is Eliza" I say while looking at her tray of foods. "Oh I know but I'll call you El and my name is Flores but you can call me Flo"

It takes me a second to register whatever she's saying because she speaks crazy fast which reminds me of Sera. Oh how I miss her..

"Oh kay Flo.." she nods at me and starts speaking "so.. I see you've used the prayer mat, don't worry I got it for you and I've made some breakfast for you"

I look down to the tray and find many food items like bread, cheese, juice and egg toast.

"Are these-" before I can finish my sentence she speaks again "Halal? Yes they are.. me and Xavier went shopping last night to buy you some stuff so rest assured"

She seems friendly enough for me to talk given that I am under her watch and she could be as rude as she wants but she is trying her best.

Her and Xavier went  last night? Does that mean they're together or something? Whatever What is to me anyway?

"El.. you there?" I glance upwards and see her waving at me "oh yeah sorry, thanks for going out the way for my needs"

She smiles and sits down "oh it's no big deal, you'd do the same given your record"

I nod at her and look the other side to avoid awkwardness. She looks at me and speaks "soo.."

"So?" I ask her dumbfounded
"So, I bought this for you so you have to do one thing." I nod "what?"

She gives me a 'really' look and proceeds to say "eat girlll!! Cmon you look like you'll faint any moment plus you have not eaten since two days"

Oh. "Oh okay I'll eat but what about you?" She looks down and hands me a toast and says "I've eaten and you also eat fast then come downstairs Xavier is waiting for you"

My expression changes the moment she says his name and my mind drifts to last time's events and how he almost killed me.

She notices my change in posture and says "don't worry! Last night was a mistake even though there isn't any explanation for his behaviour just know that he wasn't being himself and if he tried anything like that again then come to me I'll make sure he learns his lesson"

Wow she seems terrifyingly confident for her own good. I mean given that she is so petite and small in comparison to Xavier, but still I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I shouldn't judge at all because I don't hold that authority.

She looks at me as if she read my mind and says "oh don't worry, I have ways to my torture and don't go for how I look it's more like how I use my strengths"

"Sure, I mean I wasn't having second thoughts" she laughs at my words and I do too.

I start eating my food as she speaks again "okay then, later boo" she gives a flying kiss and exits the door.

Wow isn't she friendly? Who am I kidding? She is more friendly then my freaking counsellor .

I have feeling we'll be great friends.

I start yapping my food due to my extreme hunger only to slow down when I almost choke.

I finished my food and now I am fixing my scarf as I have to go down to meet the monster.  It doesn't even feel extreme calling him names.

I know I am way too calm for someone who was electrically shocked the previous night but I guess I am not because of how much I've seen and been through during my medical career.

I put my thoughts aside and slowly open the door only to be in awe of the surroundings.

The hallway is very pretty as it has a warm feeling to it due to its extremely cozy interiors. The carpet is brown in colour and everything about it makes me want to take a blanket and sleep in warm ness.

I shake my feelings and cascade downstairs as I am met with a middle aged woman cleaning the floor.

"Hello dear, you must be Eliza?" I politely nod at her as she speaks again "I am Emily"

"Hi Emily" I say in a low tone as she speaks again "I'd love to chat for longer but Xavier is waiting for you in his study"

"Oh I actually don't know the way can you please show me?" I ask her with a smile and returns one with a slight nod "Ofcourse dear I've been waiting for you to wake up please follow me"

She keeps the broom away and fixes her apron as she walks in a more dim area and I follow her meekily.
