3- Meeting Class A

As your alarm blasts that hellish sound you're to used to, you reach over and slam your fist on the off button. Looking at the time you see it's 6am, classes don't start until 9am but you decided to get ready earlier and have the opportunity to meet your new classmates.

After getting dressed in your uniform and tie your long h/c hair in to a ponytail and grab your book bag, you make your way down to the common room. It felt like your heart was going to jump out of your throat, All Might had told you a bit about your new classmates but you were still nervous to meet them, and if they found out about who you are and your quirk. You always felt guilty, about your life in general, because of your birth, One for All became only 50% as powerful as it used to be, you feel like you stole your dad's quirk, effectively making him weaker, and now One for All is split. You really did understand when your All Might wanted to pass it down to you, to amend his mistake and make the quirk whole again, but you never wanted the quirk in the first place, you didn't want to be n°1, or the symbol of peace, you only wanted to save people, and make the world a better place.
You were relieved when he said he had a successor, and passed it down, but you couldn't help but still feel the guilt sting in the back of your mind, you knew there wasn't anything you could do, it was implanted in your DNA now, there was nothing you could do but keep it.

Your thoughts were cut short as the elevator doors open and you come face to face with a red head with sharp teeth and some blonde guy that seemed extremely pissed off.
"Huh?" The blonde glares down at you. "Who the hell are you?!" He screams before his friend grabs his shoulder.
"Chill Bakugou! This is the new student remember? She's joining our class this year!" The redhead turns to you. "What's your name beautiful?" He asks with a toothy grin, you start to lightly blush at the name and stammer out.
"O-oh! Hi, I-I'm Y/N! Nice to meet you!"
"Y/N huh? Well welcome to U.A! I'm Ejiro Kirishima! And this angry guy over here is Bakugou!" He beams, you smile at him and then at the blonde who just tsks and looks away, you could have sworn you saw a red hue on his cheeks but you brushed it off. "Have you met the rest of the class yet?" Kirishima continues.
"No, not yet, I got in pretty late yesterday, everyone was already asleep." You say following them back to the common area.

As you walk in you place your bag on the counter and grab yourself a glass of water.
"Hey guys! The new student is here!" Kirishima calls out catching everyone's attention as they turn and look in your direction. Kirishima swings his arm around your shoulder.
"This is Y/N- uhh what is your last name again?" He asks and you stiffen, you didn't know if anyone here was All Might's successor, and they would know his last name, so you decided to use your mother's maiden name.
"It's uh.. L/N, Y/N L/N." You say with a smile while you rub the back of your neck awkwardly.
Everyone runs up to you to greet you and get to know you.
"Oh wow you lived in Spain for 8 years? It sounds so exotic!" A girl with round pink cheeks kindly smiles at you, her name was Ochaco Uraraka. "Do you have family here?"
"Yeah, my mum is Spanish and we went to Spain when I was ten. I have my dad here, he's one of the reasons I came back." You say.
"What are the other reasons?" A pink alien like girl asks.
"Mina! It might be private!" Ochako gasps.
"No, it's ok. I transferred because my old school believed I would benefit more from a school that had more to offer and that could help me reach my full potential." You simply say.
"Wow... The you must be HELLA powerful!" Mina chimes while jumping in excitement. You just giggle as a fluff of green catches your eye.
"Y/N?" The crowd splits to show none other than Izuku Midoriya.
"Oh! Hi again!" You smile as he walks closer to you.
"Who would have thought huh?" He chuckles lightly and scratches the back of this head.
"Yeah, well I guess the universe has given me the chance to pay you back for the noddles." You both laugh as Bakugou growls and Mina looks back and forward between you two with a dirty look.
"Soooooo.... You two know each other huh?" She asks while wiggling her eyebrows. Izuku blushes understanding fully the intent behind her words.
"Y-yeah, I bumped into her last night, literally!" You both laugh as the memories of your last encounter resurface.
"Ohhhhhhhhh~"
"I-It's not l-like t-that! I-I just bumped in to her on the s-street and made her drop h-her money!" He clarifies as bright red invades his face, you also feel heat rising to your cheeks from Mina's words.
"Tsk! No surprise, your dumbass would definitely do something stupid like that! Damn Deku!" Bakugou shouts as he walks away from the group to sit on the couch. The groups attention seems to have shifted to the angry blonde, so you took the opportunity.
"Midoriya right?" You ask as you take a step towards him, his blush has subsided but still visible.
"Yes, I'm sorry about Katchan, he can be a bit of a loud mouth sometimes." He nervously looks over at the blonde fighting off Kirishima that just tried to calm him down.
"Heh, I can tell. I wanted to thank you." You look up at him as he shows a small look of confusion.
"For the noodles? As I said it w-"
"No, not the noodles" you cut him off "well, for the noodles too but... for the cake." You mumble, his eyes widen finally clicking what you were talking about.
"O-oh! Y-yeah, I s-saw that you were l-looking at it for a while a-and I just thought..." He trailed off nervously while you giggle.
"It was really sweet of you, thank you."
He seems to lighten up a bit and smiles at you.
"We should probably get going, class is going to start soon." He starts walking towards the front door as you follow.

The walk to class was enjoyable, Izuku lead you in to the building and showed you the way to classroom A and where the bathrooms, training grounds and cafeteria was. It was so kind of him to take the time to show you around. Once you arrive in class, you took the empty seat that was in front of Izuku, new year, new seat arrangements you guessed. As the class finishes sitting and ending conversations, a very tired looking man walks in with a yellow sleeping bag under his arm.
"Alright class, settle down. First of all, welcome back to your last year at U.A high, this is the year you will be graduating, so for my sake and for yours, no trouble this year, am I clear?" He states in a bored tone.
"Yes sensei!" Everyone beams.
"Now that we got that out of the way, you've probably already met your new classmate, Y/N L/N. L/N, please come up here and introduce yourself for those who don't know you and tell us your quirk and hero name."
You mentally thank All Might for also using your mother's maiden name in your student profile. You get up from your seat and walk up to the front of the class to speak.
"Hi guys, for those I haven't met yet, I'm Y/N L/N, I'm 18 years old and I just moved here from Spain, where I lived for 8 years with my mother. My quirk..." You trail off thinking of a way you can describe your quirk without the connection being to obvious. "My quirk consists of two parts, firstly I have telekinesis that allows me to control any object, inanimate or not, the other part of my quirk... well, I have super strength, super speed and agility." You rub the back of your neck nervously, until you're met with a reassuring smile and emerald eyes that begged you to continue. "And, my hero name is Mentall." As you bow Mr. Aizawa asks you to take your seat once more.
Once you sit down, you let out a breath you never noticed you were holding until you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around slightly to be met by those enchanting green eyes.
"Hey are you an All Might fan?" He asks and you instantly tense. "Is 'Mentall' kind of a reference to his hero name? As in Ment-All? A bit like Katchan's Dynamight, as in Dyna-Might." He chuckles and it instantly makes you relax.
"Yeah, I guess it is." You turn back around and pay attention to the lesson.
