36- It just doesn't make sense

After a few hours, you decide to stop by your dad's as you still had almost 2 hours before you were going to meet Izuku. Although he still hasn't answered your texts, you simply assume he was to busy to respond but he had read them. As you near All Might's house, uou pull out your phone once more.

Y/N: Hey, it's me again. I'm stopping at my dad's and then I'm getting some ramen takeout. Want me to get you some? Let me know x

You shove your phone back in you pocket and sigh as you walk up the porch steps, knocking on the door. A blonde skinny man opens, his expression tensing as he sees you.
"Hi dad. Everything ok?" You ask raising an eyebrow at his reaction.
"H-Hi sweetie! Of course I'm ok! Why would I be?" He stutters out nervously leaning on the door.
"Riiiiight." You trail off stepping around him, taking your shoes off as you entered. "I just thought I'd stop by as I was in town running errands."
"Huh? So you came over just to visit me?" You raise your eyebrow once more at his question.
"Well yeah. I haven't seen you much as I've been busy with training and my friends, so I just wanted to stop by and have some tea with you." You say and All Might's expression visibly relaxes as you say this. "Why? Is there another reason why you thought I'd stop by?" You ask suspiciously.
"What?! No! Of course not honey!" He waves his arms frantically as he tries to lead you in to the kitchen. "I was just surprised that's all! Anyway, about that tea." He sits you down placing a pot to boil, you chuckle at his antics, not thinking much of it.

After about an hour, you leave All Might's a bit happier, it had been a while since you got to just have a cup of tea and a conversation with your dad, it was nice. It got your mind off Izuku, even if it was for only an hour. You check your phone again, nothing.
You reach the ramen shop and place your order, even though he didn't reply, you still ordered something for him. You smile softly as you remember the first time you met, how it was your pure clumsiness and general lack of attention in your surroundings that lead to you bumping in to him, quite literally. It had been so long.
You pay for your ramen and make your way back to U.A., walking in to the common room, you see Denki and Sero playing video games, with Mina, Ochako and Jiro braiding Tsu's hair.
"Hey Y/N!" Mina chirps, everyone's attention turns to you as you receive a mixture of 'hi's and waves.
"Hey guys, how's it going?" You smile walking passed them.
"You wanna join Y/N? After we're done with Tsu we were going to ask Momo if we could braid her hair but how you're here." Ochako ask peering over the back of the couch.
"Sorry guy's I've got plans, maybe next time." You smile sweetly and make your way to the roof.
Opening the door, a cool breeze flows through your hair making you shiver slightly. Walking towards the edge, you swing you legs over as you sit watching the sun begin to set. You had planned to wait for Izuku to eat but your stomach had other plans, on about the third grumble, you cave and pull out your ramen takeout bowl and start eating. The rays of golden sun danced beautifully through the clouds turning the horizon in to a pinkish orange sea.
As you finish your food with a content sigh, you check the time, 6:42pm. Deciding to wait a little longer, you dangle your feet off the edge, swaying the back and forth as you hum a tune, enjoying the beautiful view.
The humming soon turned in to singing as the gentle breeze made your hair dance around your face.

Love like you." You sing melodically, closing your eyes and feeling the last of the warm rays before they fall behind the horizon. But little did you know, someone was listening.

Bakugou's POV:
I finally got away from those loud idiots, I have been training by the dorm's back porch for an hour now. Panting, I grab my water bottle and towel, sitting on the steps taking a few sips. As I wipe my forehead from the sweat, I hear something. More like someone, someone singing. I step out and look around, there was no one there but the voice was still prominent, I funny look up, squinting until I finally make out someone up on the roof.

My eyes widen when I realise who it was, it was Y/N. Why was she up there? Wasn't she supposed to meet up with that damn Deku? Did that bastard stand her up?! I clench my fists in anger as I watch her, she was smiling, but it was a sad smile. I always knew when she was upset, even though she tried to hide it.
Even when she's all alone, she wears that fake smile, as if she is trying to convince herself that she's not sad. I lean against a tree and slide down it, resting my elbows on my knees as I listen.
"Even though I can't compare
