I looked at Aspen as he stared at me silently, kneeling down in the moist grass. I narrowed my eyes as he continued to stare, unsure on whether this was a staring contest or not. 

Ugh, I'm too tired for this, I thought as I looked away, laying my head on my paws. 

He sighed then suddenly sat leaning against me. I wagged my tail, unsure, but then decided to let it go and sighed, relaxing in the comfort being so close to my mate gave me. 

What? This means nothing. 

"I wish you'd behave" he huffed and I growled. 

I behave, I haven't killed anyone yet have I? I asked sleepily as I closed my eyes. 

"Yeah that's great, thanks" he said sarcastically and I lifted my head to stare back at him. 

"What?" he asked when he caught me staring and I blinked casually before looking elsewhere.

Nothing.        

He sighed again then a few moments later growled in anger. 

Ah, moody's in the house, I thought then got up, forcing him to stand up too.

I know what  you're thinking, and sadly you're just going to have to deal I told him as I walked around the island.

"I shouldn't have to deal Ziathe, you're supposed to behave" he growled and huffed as I sniffed at the tiny wooded area.

Why exactly? Why is it me that has to behave? Who decided that? Huh? I questioned then turned to look at him. He wasn't there so I flattened my ears and darted my eyes around. 

You dare attack me and you'll regret it I warned when I couldn't find him, and judging by the smallness of the island he was behind me in the trees.

The fact that I am alpha decided that he said in mindlink, not giving away his location. 

I turned my head and looked back into the trees. 

WHY!? That doesn't mean anything I replied and growled into the trees. 

How about that I can beat you easily even in human form?  he asked with amusement and I growled. 

And why in the hell do you think that, prove it you bastard! I shouted then felt a shadow fly over me.

"Fine" he said, standing in front of me and I spun my head back around, only to get it hit anyway. 

I yelped and took a few steps backwards as I tried to focus my vision, then snapped at him blindly.

He grabbed a hold of me in a head lock, and even though I was easily able to move about he was still constricting my breathing. 

Get off you dickhead! I shouted as I spun round and around, but all he did was smile. 

"Shift" he suddenly ordered and I scoffed. 

No.

"Shift"

Fuck off!

"Shift or I'll make you unconscious" he warned as I slowed down, starting to get light headed.

No way.

"Do you seriously want me to floor you in human form?" he smirked as I slowly sank to the floor, my vision blurring.

For fuck's sake it's not even worth it, I thought as I shifted, but immediately tried to get away from him. 

I only got a few gasps of breath before he got me in another headlock and I growled at him.
