(Ziathe's POV)

I slowly limped up to my pack with a very angry expression on my face. The younger rogue whimpered and lay on the ground in submission as I stomped over to him. What are you doing here exactly? Hmm? Do you think you are strong enough to take them on? Really? Well you're not! I nearly died saving your naive little ass! I shouted and he licked his lips while flattening himself on the ground.

I'm sorry! I wont do it again! he pleaded and I sighed. You better not , and you're welcome I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes as I turned away.

Stanson walked up to me and I sighed again. Hey , I'm not that annoying , but , don't you think we should take a break before we attack another pack? he said as he walked beside me.

I huffed and lowered my head in exhaustion as I walked. Maybe that would be a good idea.... I said as I gave a wolfish yawn.

Get a few guards to stay up , make the annoying youngster be one , and we can get some rest I ordered before collapsing onto the ground and stretching out on the floor.

I looked up to the sky and sighed contently as the rest of my warriors settled down around me.

(Aspen's POV)

I looked up at the full moon as we sneaked silently through the night. We had been tracking the rogue pack for a good hour because they had somehow been able to conceal their scents. All I had to go on was my mates scent.

We were getting closer , I could smell them now.

I signalled my pack to slow down and they stalked behind me as we neared a clearing.

I looked out into the clearing and saw the whole pack of rogues lying down and sleeping , with the leader ,and my mate, in the middle.

I flicked my tail anxiously as my beta came to stand next to me. Should we attack them? I'm not so sure about attacking them when they are defenceless but it's not like they'd do the same for us he said and I rolled my eyes. That is not the point , if we did that just to make it even then we would be exactly the same as them wouldn't we? I raised an eyebrow at him.

Fine, but, what are we going to do then? he asked while swishing his tail irritatingly. I rolled my eyes then my expression hardened as I started to glare at the rogue pack.We take their leader I said plainly and he made a coughing sound. You don't mean kill do you? That is suicide!! And so is trying to capture that savage!!he ranted while he headbutted me. I refrained from yelping and glared at him sharply.

It would be my duty to the safety of the packs, but no, I meant capturing him, and don't worry, i'll make a plan , they will panic without their leader I explained.

You'll make one? So you don't have one now?? Argh he huffed then trotted over to the other pack members. I rolled my eyes at him then turned back to observe the rogue pack. The Rogue King was right in the middle of the huddle so I couldn't get to him without alerting the rest of their pack.

My mate started flicking his ear and looking agitated in his sleep as I watched him and I decided to back off a bit.

(Ziathe's POV)

I jumped awake as the edgy feeling in my chest grew unbearable. As I opened my eyes the first thing I noticed was no pack members were awake. I smelled the air then noticed that I couldn't detect some of my packs scent.

I growled lowly then got up while surveying the tree line of the clearing.

This being watched feeling must be because the pack wolves were around.

An uneasy feeling filled my chest as I thought of the missing scents and I immediately leaped out of the circle of wolves.

Some sudden rustling from within the trees alerted me and I cautiously headed towards it.

As I sniffed the floor I caught the weak scent of the youngest rogue disappearing into trees.

I narrowed my eyes and growled lowly as I advanced into the tree line.

My ears twitched nervously as I stalked past some bushes and my eyes darted everywhere as I followed the now distressed scent.

A spot of familiar blood was all it took to send me now sprinting after the trail and I quickly disappeared out of sight of the clearing.

I ignored the low growls I started hear around me as I had already worked out this was a trap.

I bared my teeth and snarled aggressively as I ran and was more then ready when a naive pack member pounced at me. I grabbed his neck in my teeth and easily sent him flying away into the bushes.

I narrowed my eyes as I came across a line of wolves but simply jumped onto then off a tree and completely dodged them.

I didn't surprise me when I found the Alpha standing next to my three wounded rogues as they whimpered on the floor.

I growled at them before stopping in front of the Alpha and growling savagely with my teeth bared.

He smirked at me as his dark coat shined in the moonlight and I smirked back. We both narrowed our eyes and held a staring match while our growls grew louder and louder.

Sir, I'm sorry, they came out of nowhere one of the older rogues explained while the other two whimpered apologetically. That's fine, everyone can be caught off guard once in a while I said and they all sighed in relief.

The other pack wolves joined from behind me and I circled so I was standing between them and my pack members.

What are we going to do? I'm scared the younger one complained and I turned my head to growl at him. Then you shouldn't of come here in the first place if you are that much of a coward!! I snapped then turned back around. The pack wolves were edging closer and I snarled as I stood in a protective stance next to my pack members.

The wolves gave us smug looks like they knew we were cornered and it enraged me. Unlike you pack scum I rely on others not my pride, I thought to myself before howling to the rest of the pack.

The pack wolfs' eyes widened in shock and they all turned around and panicked when my pack howled in response.

The Alpha growled a curse before leaping at me. It took me by surprise and I yelped as he buried his teeth in my neck.

I growled viciously as I tried to drag him off but he had a tight grip. I huffed in annoyance before setting off at a run into the woods. The Alpha yelped in shock as I smashed into a tree and sent him flying.

I smirked and ignored the blood dripping out of my mouth as I prowled towards him. He gave little distressed coughing sounds before straightening himself out and growling at me.

This time you wont survive.
