I made myself fall behind on an art project due monday for this chapter ;;-; but i thought you guys needed it right now. Sorry about the fake update a few days ago, i let my twin borrow my computer and probably shouldn't have left the my works tab open >:1 rood either way.

Also Colton Haynes who plays Aspen came out as gay and I didn't even realize wtf college life makes me live under a rock cri 

I awkwardly got off of Aspen after a few moments and looked away from him in some kind of sulk.

I'm such an idiot. How could I let that happen?

"Aww don't get shy" he mocked and I glared at him.

"Don't act so smug, it's not like it worked properly" I complained and he raised a brow.

"What do you mean?" he asked and I gave him a look.

"It still hurts" I voiced and he snorted.

"Aww poor thing, don't worry it should stop naturally soon..." he reassured as he stood up and I scowled at the trees.

"Or if you really want I could help even more" he said suggestively and I growled at him.

"Fuck off" I spat before failing at trying to stand up by myself.

"Need some help?" he asked with crossed arms and I bit back a hostile remark, huffing and sitting still on the grass.

I bit my lip as he leaned down and put my arm around his shoulder, helping me up and letting me lean on him as I limped back towards the building.

I tensed up when a woman walked up to us as we reached his room, making her take a step back and look kind of awkward.

"Um, Alpha...we have some things to discuss about some goings on around here recently...so..I mean i didn't want to disturb you or anything but it's kind of urgent" she said and I could just imagine sweat forming on her forehead.

I stayed silent just cautiously watching her as Aspen sighed.

"Alright give me a minute" he said then stayed silent for a few seconds. I watched the woman's expression change and narrowed my eyes, guessing they were talking in mind link.

Probably nothing I should be concerning myself with...

He then gave me a quick glance before starting to walk into the bedroom, making me wince from taking too large a step to keep up with him.

"Are you alright with getting in and staying in bed?" he asked with a guarded tone and I just sighed and sat down.

"Fine" I said quietly and he raised a suspicious brow.

"Fine? That's all you're going to say?" he asked as I just lay down and I ignored him.

I'm tired...

He stood there for a few moments in confusion before hesitantly leaving the room.

I noticed the presence of two people outside of the room after a few minutes, but didn't really care. I knew they were probably guards for when I 'tried to escape' but they were unnecessary, I am intelligent enough to know I wouldn't last long outside on my own right now. Escaping then just failing like that whether it being death or being easily captured again is just embarrassing.

I stayed silent and still with a frown on my face, sweating from the numbing pain in my leg.
