The world was fuzzy as I started to become conscious again. I felt drowsy, more than I should be, and it took me a while to focus on anything.
I tired to move my arm but it was stopped by a force and a rattling of a chain, of course.
My vision came into focus and I saw cloth above me...and a fake sun. I growled and looked around, I was in a pretty large tent.
I was covered in bandages and had chains on my wrists, I also had a blanket over me. Human form..Hate it.
I glared at the man I spotted sitting watching me, knowing it was the Alpha. He looked around about my age, and my size, which pissed me off. He had dark hair and blue/ grey eyes. Obviously I found him attractive but I wasn't going to admit that outloud anytime soon.
"What are you doing?" I said as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Watching you" he replied in a low tired voice and I huffed. "Why am I here, It's disrespectful to not kill your opponent if you win a fight you know?" I huffed.
"You rogues and your crazy traditions, no it's not, it's just nice, besides I couldn't kill you, it would hurt me too much" he explained as he stood up and I scoffed.
He started pacing while watching me and I growled while pulling on the chains on my wrists.
"I wouldn't bother, you wouldn't be able to get up anyway or shift" he said as he paced and I sighed before placing my head flat on the ground again.
Just as I suspected, I was drugged.
"That's cowardly, don't you think the chains were enough" I commented as I stared at the cloth above me.
"It's not for me, it's for you, to stop you killing yourself or doing sometihng stupid" he said and I grinned.
"Killing myself? That's even worse than staying in this place, you'd get no blessing from the moon goddess if you take the cowards way out" I smirked.
"That's reassuring.." he muttered as he held his fist to his mouth, pondering, almost looking worried.
"What's wrong with you?" I scoffed.
"Your filthy rogue pack killed my pack members that is what's wrong, do you have no mercy? No honour? Everyone wants you dead, I can't expect them not to, what can I do with you..." he asked himself and I rolled my eyes.
"We have honour, it's just more traditional, and you can just kill me like you shouldv'e beforehand." I growled at the end of my answer and he growled back.
"You're infuriating! Annoying! I want to!" he growled at me.
"Well that wasn't what I was aiming for at all" I said sarcastically as I glanced his way.
He was glaring at me and patting his feet on the ground impatiently.
I smirked before facing the otherway and relaxing, feeling really tired. I heard him sigh before falling into darkness again.
-
When I woke up again I felt less drowsy, the drug must of worn off. He was still in the tent, writing something down on a letter. I jerked my hand up, making the chain rattle loudly.
He jumped and spun around, causing me to laugh.
He relaxed when he realized it was me and sighed.
He then looked like he remembered something. "What's your name?" he asked me.
"Isn't it polite to say your name first?" I replied as I looked at him smugly.
