Raven POV

"It's me... my love."

Hoya looked at me in shock and then narrowed his eyes in anger.

"You lied to me!" he yelled, stepping back slowly.

"I'm sorry.." I wailed as he stepped back a few more steps and starting running away. I grabbed his backpack yet he slipped out of my grasp.

"Come back!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face. "I need you..."

I collapsed on the concrete, not caring about being late to class or not. So he didn't forgive me... then why did he kiss me? I felt so loved.. and so...

...happy.

Hoya POV

"You lied to me!" I yelled at her as she started wailing. I took steps backward slowly, shocked at her actions. How could she lie.. about such a sensitive... topic?

I ran to class, my tears of my heart pressed deep down and turned into balls of fire. Lie? LIE? What is she, the innocent version of Violet? Why? WHY?! I shouldn't have kissed her. She is only a liar; a liar I didn't need.

I was early to class, so I waited, leaning against the wall as I hit my chest really hard, feeling no pain but heartache.

Why did she lie to me? I feel so frustrated; so stuffy. It feels like I can't trust her at all...

Raven POV

What a surprise.

Hoya was in my next class too. I saw him leaning against the wall, hitting his chest in frustration. I covered my mouth, forcing myself to not yell at him to come back. I knew I would be a coward to ask for mercy for something I clearly did wrong. I watched from the end of the hallway and waited until the teacher opened the door. The teacher was surprised when he saw Hoya burst inside and he frowned. I walked to the teacher and did my greetings to go inside. When I took a seat, Hoya was sitting in a seat closest to the windows, staring out into the distance.

"Hoya?"

He turned and then glared at me without a word.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"Sorry doesn't help," he growled, glaring out the window again. I looked down in shame and sat to the opposite side of the room. I glanced at him and when I wasn't I exchanged greetings with others. Violet was in this class too and she was chewing and popping away her bubble gum.

Geez, shouldn't she throw away the gum by now? I thought to myself as I glared at him during instruction.

"First of all, welcome back to school. I hope you guys had a great vacation this year. A new year has started and a new student has came to join us this year as well. Please come up and introduce yourself, or stand at your seat if you wish," our female teacher announced as she took a seat at her desk to take attendance.

"Hello, my name is Raven Kim and I hope we have a great year. Please take good care of me!" I pretend smiled and bowed ninety degrees.

"We will take great care of you!" Violet hollered from the back of the room, smirking as she sneered.

"Violet," our teacher scolded, "that's rude." Violet only rolled her eyes and glared at me. I still pretend smiled as sat back down. I looked down on my desk blankly and sighed. I wish we could move somewhere else.. anywhere but here.

After English, I finally had a break from class. I clenched my fists and raised them in the air, so grateful for a break. I walked down the stairs and headed down more stairs towards the cafeteria when I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was a girl I didn't know and she looked really friendly and beautiful.
