Hoya POV

The drive was still silent as I stared out the dark window. The dream kept poking me, reminding me that Raven was in some sort of trouble.

"Raven is in trouble."

Those words kept echoing in my mind nonstop, making my anxiousness grow bigger by the second.

"Finally we're home," Sungjong groaned as he climbed out of the black vehicle. I dragged myself out after him, my footsteps so heavy with exhaustion. Then, my foot hit something.

"That looks like Raven's cat," Sunggyu examined the cat after he wriggled the car key out of its slot.

I glanced down and saw a black cat with a white tipped tail and white socks on its paws. I stared at it for a few seconds as it mewed and pawed at my worn off shoes, trying to tell me something. I kneeled down and looked deep into its lime green eyes. I didn't see anything but fear.

"It's probably just a stray cat," I suggested. Of course, I ignored the cat because I knew it was Raven. I just passed by it because we broke up. She didn't need my help.

What if I get her more injured then she might be now?

I knew that couldn't happen. If I got her hurt, I would never forgive myself. With even heavier footsteps, I stood up and passed by the feline. Its lime green eyes looked at me in despair, looking so sad and disappointed.

It's for your own good.

I walked inside and into my room, the image of her looking at me with her bright green eyes kept bothering me, making me restless and unable to sleep.

"Raven..." I whispered to myself in the empty room. "...you'll be okay..

..right?"

Raven POV

How could he?

Hoya called me a stray cat. He knew it was me but yet he did nothing. He could've at least asked what's wrong. It was unlike him to do this to me.

I watched him go inside the dorm without looking back at me. My heart was shredded painfully as Sungjong looked back and waved, beaming brightly at me. My tail drooped and I sat on my haunches, not believing what just happened.

Why is he ignoring me? Did Violet tell some sort of lie to him? That little wench-I'll make sure she gets it!

I bounded away from the dorm and pounded my paws on the hard concrete of the dark streets. My green eyes let out a faint glow to the dark, lighting my white paws and giving it a light green tint to it. My lungs matched the rhythm with my racing heart as I tracked down the van with my body. I tasted the air and smelled horrible smoke, making me sneeze.

I wonder why her rich parents didn't give her a better car.

I followed the smell despite the terrible taste it left in my mouth. I finally caught up to it and I slipped back into myself.

"...and I can't believe he fell for a lowly person like you," Violet scoffed like a girly person. I rolled my eyes and thanked myself that I missed more than half of her lecture. The van came to an abrupt stop and Violet scratched her neck.

"I'm a bad driver," Violet sighed as she climbed out of the van and walked to the double doors at the back. She smirked at me as her violet eyes turned blood red. I was taken aback and my guard was down as she grasped my sweater and dragged me out.

I landed on the rough cement and I groaned in pain on my side. Violet's red eyes glowed brightly as she grabbed my throat and launched me into the air. I was choked the air out of and she laughed evilly, her voice echoing loudly in the neighborhood. I didn't struggle because I was stuck in shock.
