Memories of Tragedy

Hoya POV

I was dreaming about earlier today where we were eating Chinese food. The day kept rolling on as if all the bad things disappeared. When the time came for the argument, Raven didnt say anything. She didnt complain about anything. The day continued with us laughing and enjoying our meal. The regret of arguing with Raven stabbed my heart as a tear peeled away from my eyes.

"Get up, Mr. Collapse," Sunggyu grumbled through clenched teeth.

"Leave me alone," I growled, flattening my face against the pillow. "I'm not getting up until Raven remembers me."

I hope that's sometime soon 'cause I might be suffocating right now.

"Excuse me?" asked softly by a womanly voice. I flashed my gaze to Raven at the door as she tilted her head cutely at me. Memories of her smiles at me flew past my eyes in pain as I pushed the thought away.

"Raven?" I whispered desperately. "Please tell me you remember who I am."

"It's karma for growling at me," Sunggyu hissed, my brown eyes turning amber and narrowing at him.

"Just because you're older doesn't mean I deserve this," I glared. He rolled his eyes carelessly.

"I know you're Hoya..." Raven told me stiffly. "..but I don't know who Hoya is to me."

"I'm the cat from that night seven years ago!" I blurted out, pointing to me in despair. Please tell me you at least remember that!

"Hoya.. the whole black tomcat?" Raven gasped, putting a hand to her gaping mouth. I nodded vigorously, praying desperately.

"There you are, Raven!" the doctor exclaimed from the door. He glanced at Raven and then me, realizing the scene he was butting into. "Well, I guess you're busy so come back to the ward when you're done."

"Yes, uncle," she replied obediently as he pulled his head back out and walked off.

"He's your uncle?" Dongwoo widened his eyes at Raven. Everyone stared at Raven, making her blush her baby pink. You're still my angel.. phew.

"Yes," she nodded then looking at me with tears lightly pooling in her eyes. "I think.. I think...."

"You think what?" I asked from the bed. "Spit it out!"

"I think we're not meant to be together."

Raven POV

"Raven?" Hoya whispered desperately. "Please tell me you remember who I am."

"It's karma for growling at me," Sunggyu hissed, Hoya's brown eyes turning amber and narrowing at him. Those eyes.. I've seen those before..

"Just because you're older doesn't mean I deserve this," Hoya glared. Sunggyu rolled his eyes carelessly.

"I know you're Hoya..." I told him stiffly. "..but I don't know who Hoya is to me."

"I'm the cat from that night seven years ago!" Hoya blurted out, pointing to his chest.

"Hoya.. the whole black tomcat?" I gasped, putting a hand to my gaping mouth.

-Flashback-

"Run!" he yowled.

-SCREECHING BRAKES SOUND EFFECT-

-THUD-

"HOYA!"

I love you.

-End of Flashback-

He nodded.

"There you are, Raven!" the doctor exclaimed from the door. He glanced at me and then Hoya, realizing the scene he was butting into. "Well, I guess you're busy so come back to the ward when you're done."

"Yes, uncle," I replied obediently as he pulled his head back out and walked off.

"He's your uncle?" Dongwoo widened his eyes at me from the stool. Everyone stared at me, making me blush a light, baby pink.

"Yes," I nodded. Suddenly, memories of the past few days dashed by my eyes, my heart becoming ripped and stabbed to pieces. The car accident sounds that deafened my left ear rang in the other one as the screech of Hoya's protest when he saw me at the ground. I then looked at Hoya with tragedy all over my face and tears lightly pooling in my eyes. "I think.. I think...."

"You think what?" I asked from the bed. "Spit it out!"

"I think we're not meant to be together."

Hoya POV

"Not... meant to be together?" I hesitated. She looked away and squeezed her tears onto her sleeves of the hospital gown. My heart was literally stabbed and bleeding out as it fell into the depths of my stomach.

"I'm sorry..." she sobbed quietly, a tear dropping onto the tile floor. I looked down on my bed as my fear became reality.

"We found each other after seven years and you think we're not meant to be?" I whispered, sorrow blinding me as it boiled and turned into anger. "YOU THINK WE'RE NOT MEANT TO BE AFTER FINDING EACH OTHER AFTER SEVEN YEARS?!"

"I GOT HURT THANKS TO YOU!!!" she screeched, tears starting to overflow on her face. "I HAVE A BROKEN ARM AND ONE HEARING AID!"

"IT WASN'T ME, IT WAS VIOLET THAT CRASHED YOU!!!" I yelled, my brown eyes revealing its amber self, fire blazing with flames. "EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU MORE THAN MY FAMILY YOU STILL THINK WE'RE NOT MEANT TO BE?!"

"OF COURSE YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR FAMILY; IT'S BECAUSE THEY MOVED AND DITCHED YOU HERE WITH THESE JERKS!" Raven snapped.

"HEY, WE'RE NOT JERKS!" Woohyun yelled, Raven's eyes turning bright lime green and narrowing at him.

"STAY OUT OF IT YOU BAD LIAR!!!" Raven hissed. "I KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE ME SO SHUT YOUR TRAP!"

He stayed quiet after that and just glared out the window, his olive green eyes giving off a faint green glow.

"I wasn't joking when I said let's break up before the crash," Raven whispered, her eyes turning hazel again. She looked at me with pain in her eyes. "Please.. for my sake.." she sobbed.

Pain burned itself into my bleeding heart as it fell even deeper down my stomach. I gaped at her with my mouth wide open in shock as a tear rolled off my cheekbone and dripped from my jaw to the blanket. The room was blanketed with silence as only crickets chirped their midnight songs. The decision was so hard.. way too hard.

If I let her go she would be more happier.. but what about me? If I keep her... she would keep getting hurt.. making me hurt too. I just found her and she wants to forget and leave me already?

I closed my eyes as the tears of the pain overflowed and created a thick river across the hills and mountains of my face. The words hesitated to roll out from my mouth and my heart was lost. It could never come back thanks to the darkness of the decision I made. I let out a shaky sigh as for the pain was unbearable. Despite the ache, I knew this was the best for Raven, for me, for everyone.

"Okay... we'll break up.. so goodbye..

..my Raven."

I'm speechless. I'm so satisfied but I'm so saaad. TT_TT

My goal is to make my readers cry. I made myself cry so I think I got my goal fufilled in a really sad way. I give thanks to my friend that made me mad today and help me out with describing the feelings of pain and anger. NO, THIS FANFIC IS NOT OVER!!! It's not an open ending. The adventure shall go on! The rollercoaster ride is still rolling on the tracks so don't peel away from your device just yet. Yes, I know, I'm very cruel to Hoya and Raven. It's a really short and sad chapter so I deeply apologize about that. I haven't received any comments about hunting my mistakes from the favor I gave to my followers in the past chapter I believe or the one before so that's good. Happy reading!
