Hoya POV
"Will you guys HURRY UP!!!" I yelled from the driver's seat. Again, we were late for class. I revved up the car in a rush as I heard the sliding car doors slam closed.
"Shoot, I forgot my phone!" Myungsoo cursed as he stepped back out the car.
"NOT NOW!!!" the guys yelled as they watched Myungsoo dash back inside the dorm. He came back to the car as fast as he left and told me to go.
"Careful driving!" Sungjong hollered from the back as I stepped on the gas pedal in a rush, almost crashing into an owner and its dog.
"Sorry!" I yelled from the window as the owner glared at me and then ran off. I stepped on the gas once more and drove through the shortcut to school. When we arrived, the brakes screeched to a stop and Sunggyu was trying to open the door when he got the lock stuck.
"Curse it!" Sunggyu growled as he slammed the lock and the door opened at last. I parked crappily and fixed my tie as I ran to class side by side with the guys. We whipped past the inner gates and parted ways to class when we heard the bell ring loudly, echoing throughout the campus. I slammed the door open and opened my class door and sighed in relief that the teacher didn't come yet. I quickly took my seat beside Raven who looked at me in concern.
"You alright?" Raven whispered and I nodded, sitting up at the loud voice of our teacher.
"Good morning class!" our math teacher greeted us as he collected our homework. I glanced at Raven's homework and saw her paper was flawless while mine was all wrinkled and messy. I groaned, my ankle acting up again.
"You should've just walked," Raven whispered as she handed me her medicine again. Forgot mine in the locker again, great. I quickly sprayed it and handed it back, finally focusing on class. As the teacher passed out worksheets, I took a glance and glared at it. Curse you fractions.
"I saw that many of you had trouble turning fractions into decimals so we will continue studying this for the rest of the week." The whole class groaned in disagreement. "Do I hear complaints?" our teacher snapped and we became silent. "That's what I thought."
Before I knew it, first break had came. Raven and Sapphire hung out with us today since Raven wanted to be with me and Sapphire at the same time. As I ate my sandwich, I noticed Sapphire and Sunggyu getting along with each other. It had been a while since Sunggyu had got along with any girls. I smiled at them when Raven punched my shoulder lightly.
"Are you jealous of them?" Raven teased me and I glared playfully at her.
"Maybe," I answered, making her hit my shoulder again. "Ow, that seriously hurts!" I lied, making her giggle her small mouth away. It made me smile, feeling like nothing bad could ever happen to us. Then, I remembered Sunggyu and Woohyun's argument last night and I only shook my head, losing my appetite.
"Want my sandwich?" I asked Raven and she shook her head, thanking me for the offer.
"Can I have it?" Dongwoo exclaimed and I gave the happy-go-lucky guy my sandwich since it was the least I could do.
"I heard there's a carnival tonight a few miles away," Sungyeol said, Dongwoo brightening up at the idea.
"A carnival?" Sapphire asked and Sungyeol nodded.
"It's the annual spring carnival, remember?" Sungyeol asked the guys and none of us remembered.
"You people have bad memory!" Sungyeol exclaimed, causing Myungsoo to hit his arm. "OW!"
"Bad memory? Who's the one who forgot my toothbrush was blue and yours was yellow?" Myungsoo scolded him.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!" Sungyeol yelled as Myungsoo got up to poke him with his fork. Sungyeol ran far away and Myungsoo came back still glaring at the Sungyeol who eventually came back.
