A Common adventurer

Today was a school holiday, and I thought that I would take this chance to go to the guild. Entering the guild house, I was met by the stares of all the other adventurers.

Although female adventurers weren't uncommon, someone as young as me was. I'm fifteen years old right now afterall.

Stepping in, I headed straight to the guild's desk, and I was greeted by a guild attendant.

It was a pretty woman with short brown hair, and glasses which made her seem a lot more mature. Although, in terms of beauty Lady Catherine wins by several milestones!

"Welcome to the Amalur Guild, how can I help you today?"

Amalur guild, this was one of the kingdom's lowest ranking guilds. And for that reason, it's easier for me to not get discovered by anyone here.

"I'd like to apply for a license please."

As I said those words the guild attendant looked me up and down.

"Please wait a moment." the guild attendant trotted over to the back doors and came out with a magic measuring orb.

"Please place your hand here."

Placing my hand on the orb it glowed a bright green. Showing my magic, low tier.

"Right, thank you. Please sign up this form and your license would be finished."

And just like that, I got a license with my name on it. Quick and easy, no?

"Excuse me, is it possible for me to accept a request right now?" I asked the guild attendant.

"It is no problem. However, since Miss Aya is still an E-Rank you may only accept E-Rank requests for now."

The guild attendant explains, although I already knew that.

Nodding my head, I walked over to the guild board where all the requests were posted. There were currently seven E-Rank requests, they were mostly gathering requests except for two.

"Boar hunting"

"Goblin hunting"

I smile as I took the Goblin hunting quest. With this quest, I can finally train this current body of mine.

In the past, there was an accident with this quest. It spread like wild fire through out the guilds since it was an E-Rank request, but it's difficulty was akin to a B-Rank request.

"I'll take this." I presented the quest to the guild attendant.

She marked the request and handed it to me.

"The quest is to bring goblin ears, the client said to bring as much as you can. The client would pay two copper coins for every ear."

I see, the client must be quite generous then.

"Understood." I started to head out the door, but the guild attendant called out to me.

"Uhm, Miss Aya. Will you not form a party with any of the adventurers here?"

"Sorry, no thanks, I'll be fine on my own."

And since I want to lay low and train, it's better to go alone.

Before she could say anything more, I had already left the guild house. Though, before leaving, I heard someone say "I bet that little missus wouldn't be able to beat one goblin! Ka-hahaha!"

Oh, I'll show you.
