Taismo and Sonamy: Hard times

Chapter 19

Tails couldn't understand, so he looked over Cosmo and asked: "What is this Cosmo? What's my surprise?"

Cosmo answered: "Tails, we're going for a nice cruise, I hope you'll be able to enjoy it and relax"

Tails got surprised, then gave a hug to Cosmo saying: "Thanks Cosmo, but that wasn't necessary"

Cosmo: "Yes, it was Tails, I'm sure you need it... now let's get aboard" Cosmo took Tails hand and headed on the board, Tails followed her.

The Captain welcomed them aboard, then they headed to see where was their cabin.

Sonic, Tails, Amy and Cosmo headed for their cabin, they knew they had 2 different cabins.

When they reached the first cabin, Amy immediately took Sonic's arm, headed inside and said: "This is our Cabin Sonic, let's get in"

Sonic was forced inside, but he actually didn't resist and headed inside by his own choice, Tails and Cosmo walked a bit more and found their cabin, it was next to Sonic and Amy's cabin.

When they got inside they found a beautiful cabin, Tails couldn't believe to his eyes, it was an extra luxury cabin, Tails said: "WOW, how much is this going to cost Cosmo?"

Cosmo answered: "I have no idea, actually Sonic took care of the cruise Tails".

Tails made a smile and gave her a hug, after all she's the reason he's there, but he was worried that it was a heavy weight for Sonic.

Cosmo told him: "I only want that after this cruise, me and you can start again Tails and forget about what happened".

Tails understood and said: "I do hope the same Cosmo".

Cosmo wanted to keep talking, but Tails blocked her giving her a long deep kiss.

Cosmo decided to shut up and enjoy that kiss.

After a while Tails decided to head outside, the ship already sailed, Tails looked at the sea and found it very relaxing, he decided to lie on a deckchair and take some sun.

He asked to a waiter if he could bring him a book to read, so he started reading a nice book, it was so relaxing.

Meanwhile Cosmo was a bit worried, she didn't know if this cruise was going to work, so she headed around, searching for him.

When she found him, she enjoyed the sight of a smile on Tails' face, she lied on a deckchair next to him and asked: "How is it Tails?"

Tails asked: "What are you talking about?"

Cosmo: "Are you enjoying the cruise?"

Tails: "It's beautiful Cosmo, I love it, what about you?"

Cosmo: "Well... I..." she couldn't stop worring about everything that happened, Tails noticed that and decided to help her.

Tails placed aside the book, then he got up and took Cosmo's hand, he brought her to watch the sea and said: "Look, it's beautiful, don't you think"

Cosmo looked and said: "Yeah, it's wonderful, it feels so calm"

Tails caressed her back and said: "I think it was exactly what we needed Cosmo, thanks"

Cosmo felt her nerves on her back, that cold and beautiful feeling you can feel when you actually relax yourself.

She gave a big hug to Tails, who gave it back to her, then she said: "Thanks, I couldn't relax myself".

Tails: "I noticed that".

After a while they broke, Cosmo decided to lie down and relax, hearing the noise of the sea, it was so relaxing.

Tails noticed that she wasn't anymore worried, so he lied down where he was and started reading once again his book.

The night reached them really quick, Tails and Cosmo headed inside, for a nice buffet.

They found Sonic and Amy waiting for them in a table for 5 people, they got there and sat down.

Tails: "Hello guys"

Sonic: "Hey Tails, how are you doing?"

Tails: "I'm feeling wonderfully, I really needed it... how much did it cost Sonic?"

Sonic: "Well, ehm..."

In that moment the captain reached them and said: "Are you enjoying the cruise?"

Tails got surprised, then he answered: "I really enjoy it, thanks captain."

The captain answered: "I'm glad that my VIPs enjoy the cruise, please, take a nice buffet, it's all free for you", then the captain left to take some food.

Tails got astonished, he looked over Sonic, who told him: "He said it was the least he could do since we saved everyone so many times."

Tails was really happy to hear that it wasn't a problem for anybody at all, he was worried that the cruise was too much expensive for Sonic, but now he's no more.

After the dinner Sonic and Amy headed away saying that they wanted to take a long sleep that night, so they left Tails and Cosmo alone sitting next to the captain.

Cosmo got up and, looking to the captain, said: "I hope you don't mind if we leave too"

The captain made a gesture to tell them: "Don't worry" and Cosmo leaded Tails outside.

After a while Tails said: "This is not the way for our cabin Cosmo"

Cosmo: "I know Tails, I'm not heading there" Tails didn't understand, but followed her.

They got to the tip of the ship, Cosmo wanted to have a nice romantic moment for them, Tails noticed that.

When they got there, they hugged eachother looking to the sea, it was wonderful.

After a while Tails made a thought and felt guilty, he said: "You know Cosmo..."

Cosmo: "Yes?"

Tails: "...about what happened, I wanted to..." Tails didn't know what to say, he wanted to tell her what he wanted to do, but he felt guilty since he threw everything away.

Cosmo: "Is everything ok Tails?"

Tails: "I... I..." Tails almost started crying.

Cosmo noticed that and made him cheer up saying: "Tails, whatever it was, don't worry, it's not important now, the only important thing now, is that you're next to me"

Tails felt even worse after hearing that, he almost started crying.

Cosmo just remembered something, so she said: "Oh, I almost forgot it Tails, I have a surprise for you... look"

Tails started looking, but he found nothing that could be a surprise, after a while he noticed that Cosmo was showing him her hand, he checked it and gasped: "Wait, that's..."

Cosmo blocked him and said: "Yes Tails, I'll marry you" Cosmo was showing him that she was wearing the ring that Tails made for her.

Tails was looking at her, astonished and wordless, after a while he started crying of joy, Cosmo told him: "There's no need to cry Tails, I'm here".

Tails couldn't stop crying of joy, then he gave her a long deep kiss, she got surprised, but eventually she gave it back to Tails.

None of them wanted to break that beautiful moment, after a while Cosmo stopped kissing only and said: "Tails, I'm starting to freeze here, can we go inside?".

Tails looked at his watch and saw that it's been an hour, he said: "Yeah, sorry, we stopped here too much".

He took Cosmo on his arms and headed inside in their cabin, Cosmo got surprised by that, but she didn't protest about that, instead she was enjoying it.

When they got inside Tails put her on the bed, under the sheets and got on his side of the bed

When he got under the sheets, she didn't waste a second and hugged him, they slept hugging eachother.

Sonic, Amy, Tails and Cosmo enjoyed so much the cruise, it passed really fast for them, however Tails felt that he didn't need it anymore after the 2nd day, he already falled in love for Cosmo once again

They promised to eachother that something so bad wasn't going to happen again, and if it could, they'll stop and talk about that before everything will collapse like this time.

However they were starting once again a long adventure of love, and this time nothing will break it.
