Chapter 15: The world is a nasty place, isn't it?

Niall's party was at a private hotel, and it was decorated elegantly, perfect to his taste. There was still a lot of time for the party to begin, yet people were everywhere. The place was already crowded with girls dancing to a random song and guys having shots. The place was festooned with foil balloons, confetti, banner, a massive food stall with all Niall's favorite food, a DJ and dance stage. Clara and her friends arrived early at the hotel to help with the arrangements. 

Kelly was frantically spurting everywhere, checking to see if everything was perfect. Since it was his 18th birthday, she had to make sure all was impressive. Using her best camera, she captured every moment.

A few minutes later, it became even more crowded, and everyone has arrived. Niall has specially ordered an orchestra for Louis, so he could sing with professionals. The throng gathered in anticipation of Lou's performance. He adjusted the mic and signaled for the musicians to begin.

He hummed to the music as the violinist started playing. 

I found myself dreaming

Ah! Divine song choice Louis. As soon as he sang, everyone melted and swayed to the music. His voice was one of the most unique voices, which can give you immense pleasure and relive you from the disgusting cheats of the world.

In silver and gold

Like a scene from a  movie

That every broken heart knows

Isabel's cheeks were already flushed pink as she blushed. Despite knowing he would sing well, she never expected him to sing so well.

 We were walking on moonlight

And you pulled me close

Niall took Kelly's hand in his, and they danced to the music as if they were the only ones present.  Following them, one by one, all the couples centered the ground, dancing together. Harry watched Clara's eyes scan around the crowd, and he smiled as he met them, but soon his face became harder as Maxine pulled him to the center of the crowd.

Split second and you disappeared

And then I was all alone

I woke up in tears

With you by my side

Clara was surprised when Harry danced along with Max as if they were still together. But, they are not together, he broke up with her. Wait a minute, he didn't break up with her, did he?

A breath of relief

And I realized

No, we're not promised tomorrow

Louis opened his eyes and stared straight in Isabel's eyes and sang:

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye
