Clara's pov

I shifted and shuffled around the bed, not wanting to get up yet, but unable to sleep. It's been a long day. After the movie, the boys went to their respective homes, not without urging to play a game of confessions, which we surrendered to. It was fun, although some answers were truly terrifying. We ate pizza and drank lots of beer, so I worried whether the guys would drive home safely.  As Zayn was not wasted like the others, he took care of it. He truly has high resistance to alcohol, unlike me, who will start behaving like a child after two drinks.

Me, Pearl and Isabel stayed back and slept at Kelly's house. We talked absolute nonsense, since none was in their right senses, and danced all night to 'I knew you were trouble' and 'we are never, ever, ever getting back together' as if we had gone through a very nasty breakup.

"Clara!" Kelly yelled, shoving a pillow in my face.

"Whhhaaattt!" I exclaimed drowsily, pulling my hair out of my face.

"Your fucking leg is on my fucking face. Move!" she yelled, kicking me in the stomach.

"Ouch dumb ass, you could've just said it," I screamed as I fell to the ground.

"I did, 10 times, and you said'sure', 10 times idiot. You are a freaking mess when you drink," she said, digging deeper into the mattress and pulling the blanket over her head.

I got up slowly, taking the help of the bed to support my weight, and sauntered towards the washroom. Isabel was nowhere to be seen while Pearl was sound asleep on the floor.

I brushed my teeth and freshened up, and I felt slightly better. Then I went downstairs and found Isabel cleaning up the beer bottles, popcorn, cigarettes, and what not lying messily on the floor of the living room.

"Hey Is," I said, picking the trash lying in my way.

"Good morning, Clara. I'll make you some coffee." She said, and I followed her into the kitchen. I sat on the counter, swinging my legs, while she gathered the ingredients to prepare the coffee.

"Why were you up so early?" I asked genuinely confused, as I had no idea how or why she got up soon on Sunday. That's the only day we get to sleep a little more, and she decided to skip that too?

She smiled and said, "I usually get up early."

"That's boring and kinda sad,"

Despite that, she gave me a wink and said, "But today, it was for some very special purpose."

"What do you mean?" I asked, creasing my eyebrows.

She didn't answer, but instead smirked and passed me the coffee she prepared. I took the coffee and was about to drink it, but Isabal yelled "CLARA!" which made me almost drop the coffee.

"What?" I yelled back, fortunate enough not to spill it.

"Sometimes, the littlest details matter the most", she said, leaving me even more confused.

"I love you Isabel, but you are acting super crazy right now." I commented and brought the cup closer to my lips.

"Clara!"

"What again?" I asked, rolling my eyes in irritation.

"If you were even a little smart and listened to what I was saying, you would know that there was something written in your coffee." She sassed, folding her hands in a childlike manner.

I looked into it and realized there was something written on it that read "Date?" and a smily face below it. Date? With Is? That's weird.

"Isabel, as much as I like you, I think it's better we stay friends." I muttered laughing.
