After the studio I got a call from Deena saying she canceled our brunch so now I'll be bored and alone.

"You can always go by Yella's house." My mom suggested and I thought about it.

"Alright bye then," I said before taking up my jacket and leaving.

He lives not too far from here. Just one cab to the destination.

The driver dropped me off. I paid him and walked up to his door. I knocked and a few times before a short light skin girl with long black hair answered it.

"You must be Amala?!" She screamed.

"Yes?....."

Why is she so happy to see me? "Eric told me a lot about you. I'm Bria by the way. Eric's girlfriend."

Girlfriend?! This dude had a whole girlfriend and was flirting but what else do I expect? This is Eric. The player.

"If it ain't the rapper." Ren teased.

"I'm not all that." I blushed.

"You can rap?" Bria asked excitedly.

"A little bit," I replied shyly.

"Let me hear sum." She said before sitting on Eric's lap.

"Okay." I took a deep breath in before starting.

I kept my eyes closed to avoid messing up what I had written.

"Wow, she's good," Bria said while hyping me and I blushed.

"I can rap too." She added and Eric snickered.

"Babe I'm serious." She pouted and stood up.

"Okay, so 1, 2, 3. Boy toy named Troy used to live in Detroit
Big dope dealer money he was gettin' some coins
Was in shootouts with the law, but he live in a palace
Bought me, Alexander McQueen, he was keeping me stylish." She smirked and sat back down.

The room got quiet probably stunned by her bars. I know I was.

"Who's Troy?" Eric asked breaking the silence.

"Really bruh? I just rapped something to you and you're going to ask me who's Troy?" She said annoyed.

"Babe I'm just kidding but anyways have you two ever thought about becoming entertainers?" He asked.

Bria and I looked at each other and replied in sync.

"Great, I'm signing you to ruthless records." He informed and both Bria and I started jumping around and even hugged each other.

I just met her but I think we're going to last for a long time.

"I'm glad that you'll be happy so come by tomorrow for your first session."

I stopped jumping and frowned. "I can't come tomorrow 'cause I got church at 7. What about Monday after school?" I asked nervously.

"I guess we have to start without you but okay," Dre said.

I nodded in agreement and went into the guest room for some time alone. Why am I so stupid? I've already failed horribly in school except for history and music though. I'm very good in those classes.

As I was about to lay my head down the door opened. I looked up just to see Bria with a warm smile on her face.

"What's a wrong cutie?" She cooed at me and I blushed.

"I don't know if I'll make it in the rap industry with these grades I got," I said looking down.

"Girl, can I tell you something?" She asked with a chuckle.

"Eric didn't finish school but he's still the smartest. Have you ever heard him talk about educational stuff you'd think he had a high school diploma but he doesn't 'cause you wanna know why?" She asked smiling and I shook my head completely clueless.

"He exercised his brain not only his rapping skills." She laughed making me laugh too.

"So I'm not saying throw your education away but try to find a way of doing it without going to school. Being a rapper can take up your time so you must balance that scale." She said grabbing my hand and I looked at her and just hugged her.

She's really nice. Now I see why Eric likes her. "Thanks, Bria, I think we're going to be besties."

"How about we get the hell outta here and go have some real fun?" She asked as she stood up.

I got up as well and left out of the room.

"Where ya'll going?" Eric asked Bria sternly but she didn't answer.

"Don't worry about it eazy I'm watching her," I replied laughing.

Eric chuckled and we left.

"Don't mind Eric he's always watching my cat like it's going to flee." She laughed.

"Oh, I know." I sneered.

We went to skate land and got inside immediately skating. Bria was awesome at it. Skating gracefully like a ballerina. Speaking of ballet. I got ballet lessons at 4:30 and it's 2:30.

"Bria I gotta go!" I shouted while skating back to the entrance.

"Where are you going?" She pouted.

"I got ballet lessons in 2 hours," I replied grabbing my bag.

She skated towards me. "Can I come and watch you?"

"Of course come on." I smiled and she took her skates off.

I went home first to pick my suit. Once I was finished we left for ballet class.

"Who signed you up for this anyways?" Bria asked with an annoyed facial expression.

"My mom," I replied while putting on my ballet shoes.

"Wait you're biracial?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah," I said before gliding towards my teacher.

As I began dancing the teacher stopped me.

"Amala this isn't my place but the girls in here have firm buttocks and you....well you have a really big behind." She sassed.

"Mrs turner I can't help it if my butt is twice the average size." I sassed and walked away.

"I'm quitting 'cause this isn't me anyways. I'm too black for this shit!" I yelled one more time before storming out of the building. Bria came running towards me. Jeez, I forgot she was in there for a minute.

"What happened in there?" Bria asked out of breath from all that running.

"She fat-shamed me," I replied almost crying.

"Mmm, I tell you about them white folks and their flat asses. She's just mad." Bria snickered making me laugh.

As I was near my house I heard the sound of a cat meowing in the bushes.

I stopped and followed the noise. An orange kitten was curled up shivering.

I used my bear hands and took it up.

"Is it a boy?" Bria asked excitedly.

"No, it's a girl and I'm calling her safari," I replied smiling.

I like cats so that's why I added this adorable moment plus it's doja cat she adore cats as well.
