SUMMARY: Derek Gilbert had left before his parents died. Having gone off to 'college'. He had truly been off killing vampires and werewolves. Even some witches.
And when his parents died, the two kind souls that had taken pity on him when he was fifteen and was found running in the woods had adopted him and them died, he returns. Only to end up in a world messier and much more harmful and deadly than the one he lived.
