SUMMARY: Hector Fernández* wasn't a well known Hunter. Not like the Winchester brothers. Really, the only reason he had gone on the hunt, was to help Bobby. Bobby had rescued Hector on a hunt that had gone wrong. Had it not been for Bobby, Hector was sure he would be dead.
Bobby introduced him to Dean and Sam Winchester.

¹︎: Hector gets along better with Sam than Dean

³︎: Hector was, much like Sam, a believer of angels. He has been practically Star-struck when meeting Castiel

⁴︎: Castiel saying that Hector is irrelevant to what needs it happen. That There is no purpose of him being there.

⁵︎: but the longer Castiel says on earth the closer he gets to the three, especially Hector

⁶︎: Hector explaining any and all things that Castiel doesn't understand. And Castiel specifically asks Hector
