SUMMARY: Achilles Raeken had been born a shifter. He had the ability to shift into animals, people, objects. The first time it happened, he had been young, barely a year-old. And had been playing with his toys. His mother turned for a second, to wipe up the mess on his face, and turned back, he was gone. She panicked. And ran around the entire house, calling her husband. He broke every traffic law there was to her to the house. When he got there, though, Achilles was still playing with his toys.
It wasn't until later on his life, at the age of four, that they watched his shift to a look-a-like of a bird that had landed in their window seal.
